hi, may i know what is the fundamental freq for the low tuning? Its sound awesome!!

It's a very versatile/allround snare. I think it is a more modern and warmer sounding snare than its counterpart the Ludwig Supraphonic (which is also seamless), has more power and....it's cheaper!

Is this with the Stock Head ... I put on a Power center and Im not Liking the tone on this Particular snare ..Maybe UV1 Or G1 (equivalent to stock head )
@oscara.garcia51362 жыл бұрын
The tone on this video is almost like a Ludwig Supra
@Juniscrazy Жыл бұрын
Recorded sounds different then live but the UV1 is great for these metal snares if you are sticking with EVANS heads. If you want it a bit more dry then the HD dry works perfect on this snare too.

@@Juniscrazy Thank you yeah Ill go with UV1 for now

Never believe Soundattak or Memphis drumshop videos if you want to listen to the real sound of snares or cymbals. Too many trebles for the first and too many basses for the second on their recordings.
@soundattak4 жыл бұрын
Thanks for your comments, however the facts are, we do NOT enhance any frequencies, we simply tune the drums to the room, and use 2 SHURE overhead mics and 1 x Condenser PGA42 out front .. This way we try and get the most authentic tone of the drum. We want it to sound its best via tuning. If you close mic then it becomes more of as studio sound with compression gates etc which is why we avoid doing that for our sound booth drum vids.
@robsco12494 жыл бұрын
@@soundattak So that's maybe the nature of your mics which highlight trebles. Just the opposite for Memphis drumshop. Every mic Is different. Don't get me wrong, I have nothing against you as shop and these videos are better than nothing... anyway I have this snare.
