@@Keepingthefaith72 I agree with you on that totally Northern soul is still going strong and even the young generation are into it just love the music although i was into motown when i was a teenager back in the 70s did have a chance to go to an alnighter but turned it down because i was told there would be a blue haze across the room ie dope and i didn't go because i didn't want to get into trouble with my parents and plus i didn't want to be dope up to the eye balls either that is why i didn't go but i regreted it for years until i found a pub where they were playing motown and Northern soul in Cambridge so i went to it age 59 and made alot of new friends plus i went to an aldayer in 2019 and really enjoyed it i was a smoothly back in the 70s because i liked all types of music and still do but im a soul girl now too glad i went along

@@CarolAnnRunham The blue haze was probably just cigarette smoke Carol , People used to take pills to keep them dancing all night , Not smoking weed . Never felt the need for drugs myself or smoking .. A lot of clubs was closed down through drug taking and a lot of people died with overdosing on the stuff ....
