Tamales Lilianas in East LA serves up Christmas Eve tamales

La Mascota a big favorite and probably still is. The owner lady who started that bakery, which has been around for a very, very long time, was always very nice to me and my mom and we thought they made the most delicious Mexican tamales. Sadly, she died maybe I think maybe 15 years ago or so… from diabetes.
