Beyonce doesnt have more power, I would say more control but when it comes to belt Tamar has more power. Beyonce always need to be really agressive in her singing to sound powerful, her belts without grunting, roraring are not that powerful.

I thoroughly enjoyed. Tamar is a vocalist, and she makes sure to show you that. As a vocalist, I smile every time she successfully attempts vocally challenging techniques of control and color. Although it's not always necessary to sing everything dramatically, she's being her and she sounds great.

I personally think she is a great singer, although you could hear that she was a bit shaky and perhaps even a bit nervous in the beginning which is totally normal and okey. But my issue with this performance and a lot others of her performances is that you can't hear a word of what she is singing about. English is my 4th language and I'm quite good at it, perhaps I'm the only one whom find it very hard to hear the lyrics.

I could say Leon Lewis is better than Beyoncé because of the notes she does and they way she sings. Im sorry, but Beyoncé never has a shaky performance like this. She was out of breath and straining the WHOLE song. Big part of being a good singer, is knowing what you CAN and CANT do on a certain day. Tamar's range is much wider than Beyoncés, but Beyoncés works with what she has to its full potential.

Beyonce had professional vocal training. So of course she a superior vocalist compared to Tamar. But not that much. If Tamar would improve her technique and support her upper belts, headvoice, and lows she would be incredible. She has so much ease in her upper belts that she thinks doesn't have to support them because it's so easy for her. And with proper technique she can become a coloratura.
