Tamchhog Lhakhang, very old Iron chain bridge, Paro Bhutan. Worlds scary bridge

With Iron links dating from the 1400's this bridge was rebuilt in 2005 after being washed away. Today Chicken wire is used, but originally it would have been bamboo strips preventing you falling into the river below.

Thanks so much for recording. We only just discovered the Monastery and the Bridge on our map of Bhutan. Now we can see it!
