A song that really grabs the listener by the throat emotionally. So much sensitivity and melancholy in this one. If art has been purging passions since Antiquity, this song fulfils this role to perfection. Personally, the cathartic effect is profound. Breathe Deeper is the kind of song that makes me cry and allows me to evacuate the pain I carry within me. The melodies sung by Kevin are so harmonious and sad. Masterpiece...and this piano alone in the middle of the song, a tribute to Trax records? What a beauty... I'm 48 years old and I don't think I could have been happier in 2020...

I'm pitching Tame Impala to my stubborn old-school Rock 'n Roll parents this month, and I'll describe them thusly: Tame Impala feels to me like a modern-day Pink Floyd.
