One of my favorite things about TI is the compositional structure - building variations /changes in direction. This one goes from swaggering to melancholy and plaintive at the end - It's a cool contrast that reminds me how in life self confidence can vaporize suddenly.

Mr Parker, I decided to write this one this track, because it is my favorite track of yours. It’s punchy, it’s groovy, and the breakdown at the end of the track is masterfully artistic. The bongo and kicks on this track are beautiful together, and I absolutely love the soft inclusion of the smooth-as-hell sax on the end of the track. Compositionally, this song is crisp as hell, and it is even more ingenious that you finished it in such a short period of time. (I watched the Zayn Lowe interview.) Broadening our to the rest of the album, I truly believe that you have achieved mastery in your craft. Producing a new sound each album is an ambitious task, yet the more out of your comfort zone you are, the better your music sounds. I’m in love with The Slow Rush, and honestly with your entire discography. I have spread the word throughout my household and gotten everybody hooked. You have touched my life with your incredible music, inspiring my creativity, picking me up when I’m down, and turning me the fuck up with tracks like this. So, thank you Kevin, and keep doing your thing. PS, I’m coming to your concert this summer in Charlotte!! Can’t wait to see you there and hope I can meet you.🕺🏽❤️
