What products did your sister start your locs with? I watched your previous video of you doing the retwist with aloe Vera gel. I want to start mine but I want to use light products , no waxes or heavy gels. I just don’t want the build up of products in my locs .

Thanks for the update! Your hair is flourishing. I'm 4 months now and not satisfied with the progress of my locs. I wish i had started on shorter hair instead of having length and i also wish i had gotten a fresh trim/cut because my ends were not the best. Now at 4 months my ends have not fluffed up like yours and it's still skinny halfway down the loc and shows the coils. Also i wish the parts were bigger and now i'm wishing i had diamond parts. I'm 90% sure i'll comb these out or freeform for about 3 months and then cut it so i'l have at least 3 inches of hair to work with. I wanted to be flyy with my locs for the spring/summer but that's not happening now, ugh! So annoyed!! lol

Have you thought about just restarting them over to get what you want? I have a few towards the front that taper because of my texture. I think what I will eventually do is fold them over and crochet them in to get the ends to look fuller.

@@tamekans Yea i would like to start them over but it's about to be summer and I don't want to be in the early loc phase during the summer. i been getting by wearing hats during this winter and was hoping my locs would be ready by summer. Guess i'll have to wait and see.

I’m 6 months going on seven . I’m so over these straggly ends I’m ready for them to seal. I don’t remember my hair taking this long for my hair to loc on my first set . I have a video on KZbin when I was in college and I did my sixth month loc update and I was FULLY loced! I wonder if the color being drying had anything to do with that ??? This time I don’t have color . But last time around this time all my ends were sealed it’s so weird !!! I’m tired of looking crazy 😭😭😭😭😭😭🤣🤣

I'm 5 months loc'd and I don't like pulling it up because it stretches it out and makes it look slim. I don't like that. I feel like that's messing with the whole process. Right now my hair is almost always down and free. I'm patiently waiting for it to lock up more so I can start pulling it up without affecting the shape and thickness.
