This is such a cinematically stunning video and I love how Tamera and Helena. Brought a record that I was already so in love and obsessed with even more to life. By paying homage to early 2000s R&B stars like Macy Gray, Mya and Erykah Badu. With the several stunning outfits. As well as the bold and colorful aesthetics from a lot of video’s from that time. The sensual soft vintage textures throughout the visual. That also subtly nods to religious and ancient Greek iconography through the props and styling as well as her African culture. In the visual. Really bringing to life even more. The soulfully dreamy and sensually smooth lyrics and vibes of the record. That truly shows once again why, Tamera, is a true to the core artist. I keep seeing comments saying “underrated” I kinda agree but kinda not.. I know Tamera from X Factor, she was always singing the huge songs and that’s why she got far in the show and that’s what she is known for This song is amazing but it’s a normal up beat song that we hear all the time Tamera is known for her talented beautiful big voice (she was singing Whitney/Beyonce etc on the show) the talent we heard on X-Factor? I don’t hear that in these songs and that’s exactly why she isn’t gaining more fans (this is still A LOT of views) but I honestly think she could go really big, her voice sounds soulful when properly singing. I hope she gives us a slower/meaningful song because that would make the charts and help her gain a much bigger audience. She has the best voice for that type of music
