I first learned about The Villages from Peter Santenello's videos and found it very intriguing. And it's great that they offer airbnb-like homes for visitors. If you were to do this again, would you recommend renting a car? I would be interested to see as much of The Villages as possible and see what other amenities are available just outside of them. During the tour of the model homes, did they mention how much these homes go for? Can't wait to see your final wrap-up video to see what your overall thought on The Villiages would be. LOL When you said it, I just realized - normally you end videos with "I hope you enjoyed the video; thanks for watching" and then do your outro with all your cool music. That is so funny because one video did end a little differently, and I looked down because I dropped something and I thought I missed the ending or something because the next video in my queue started to play! I went back and said, oh, okay. hehhehehehhe No big deal. Was actually funny! Reminded me of the ending of movies that just...end.

It was so cute that you got to see your dad through video! I am nervous about video cameras for a lot of reasons, though great if needed for an "incident". You can tell I watch too much True Crime shows. hehe I am glad you got a good range of looks at houses. I found out that Villages has a different listing system. It is called the VLS, instead of the tradition MLS listing of houses. You cannot see a lot of Villages houses for sale on the MLS. You need a different realtor and everything. Regular realtors cannot do certain houses because of that. It is interesting. I was curious: when you did that dip on that bridge, what about the way back - it would be a steep incline UP going back, right? Either way seems a bit scary.

It's really cool that your dad could see you on the camera. I must say the one thing that I have enjoyed a lot is seeing the bands and people enjoying dancing. It seems like the kind of environment where people feel comfortable to get up and dance by themselves or just join in the fun next to others

Brownwood is the dead center of the Villages. 9 miles to Hwy 42 on the north edge and 9 miles to Moultrie Creek on the south end. The steep bridge is the original bridge connecting the “Historic Area” with Spanish Springs. Try driving it in the snow during the winter LOL. It maybe way south, but the Eastport area will be the hot spot in about a year. We live by Eisenhower Rec, and love it, but may buy new near Eastport in 2 years. Courtyard villa are great if you have dogs, and private. For me, I would never have a home with kissing lanais. Enjoy day 4.

The reason I wouldn’t want to be in Eastport is because it’s so close to Middleton & lots of families, the high school, football field, etc. All of those families will be visiting Eastport. I know they can’t use the pools & other amenities, but I bet the square, shopping & restaurants will be packed constantly.

Do you ever visit one of the squares for the nightly entertainment? Do you find yourself using your car more than the golf cart (if you have one)?

we love living in the south Tammy. We are only two minutes from Sawgrass. Living down here there is a lot more younger people lol younger meaning 60. We looked at houses up north in established neighborhoods and we found that down here Everyone is more active. We do travel to, all the squares for music and entertainment but mostly stay close to Sawgrass nightly entertainment. It’s always good. Depends on what time of year it is if we take the car up to the squares. as for our house, we added a birdcage onto the back of it for more extra living space. if you’re interested, I do have a KZbin channel that I started when I moved here called Mike the retired plow guy. You could see how my wife decorated our home. If you have any other questions, please feel free to ask. I really appreciate what you do. I never miss either one of yours posts on KZbin.😀

Im in my mid 30s and i hate where i live because its all KIDS like preteens... its really hard for me to make friends my own age (or flirt) because just im to old. this "30+" living place sounds so nice to me! Im to progressive to live in Florda though I cant drive so i would most likely hate that "drive and drive and drive"
