Tami .....I am the same , I love looking at homes , Funiture ,etccc. That is inspiration to me. If you ever want to see something different in a grocery store and only if you are in the region , go and visit a Grocery Store called Wegman's Grocery Store in the Rochester , New York . These stores are big and they have Food Bar's their where you walk , up to it , look on the board to what kind of food you would like and they make the food and then you pay for it. The next thing you do, go to the area where the people goes to eat their food and you can get your soda at the fountain . It's all speciality Food Bars , "they have chinese food bar , american food bar , etccccc. It's in one part of the grocery store , tha other part where you buy your groceries . And some Grocery stores they have , it has a restaurant in it , along with the food bars . This kind of store have a variety of food , and they carry the MOST products , at least 70,000 groceries they carry , where your average grocery store only carries 43, 000 products . Oh yes, I have been to Richmond, Kentucky Buc'ee 2022 . Been to 6 other Buc'ee throughout the USA. Springfield, Missouri on highway 44 , they opened this year . I'm still wanting to go to Buc'ee in Sevierville , Tennessee .

We did a Lifestyle Visit a couple of months ago. We never really got the hang of the supplied golf cart and wound up driving our own vehicle to a lot of our destination within TV. GPS often took us weird ways - out of TV and onto highways which is not how we would get around if we actually lived in TV. We weren't there for very long and we wanted to get in as much as possible so we'll be needing to learn the golf cart tips when we go back.
@TamiDunn5 ай бұрын
Since we didn't rent a car, it was full immersion for us. Kevin used two different golf cart apps. He will talk about those in our final wrap-up video :)

@@TamiDunn I'm glad you were able to make the golf cart work for you - there's nothing quite like total immersion into the lifestyle! My husband and I walked to Brownwood Square once or twice a day and the rest of the time we drove the car. I feel like we saw a lot but there was still so much more that we need to see. Hopefully, we'll be able to get back there soon and maybe even master getting around in a golf cart. Love your videos - thank you for sharing your experiences!

Im from Catersville Ga and so many people here drive their golf cart down town on the main streets. It has become a popular thing here. In the evenings in the summer they drive the kids to. Local ice cream shop in them. I have often wondered about the rules of driving on the main roads like seatbelts?
@TamiDunn5 ай бұрын
I don't think they should be able to make golf carts without seat belts. It seems really uncaring and money hungry of the companies.

Another great vacation wrap up! So enjoy hearing about your days! Definitely sounds like the app could use some tweaking but nice that it’s there to help you get around, I guess! Thanks for sharing your thoughts and trip with us!! People in our neighborhood always have their kids driving golf carts… we are continually shocked… but their golf carts are electric. Could you tell if any at The Villages were electric? Crazy yours is gas and it doesn’t have a speedometer 😂 I’m eager to hear about the activities they offer and the various pools and such… I’m assuming they have those and other wellness facilities like an exercise room etc.?

In Florida especially, but everywhere, I have always checked out houses - I say in Florida because each house can be a different color in some parts of S. Florida; in other places I love to check around holiday times (Christmas and Halloween). Florida was just too darned hot for me always when I lived there. I always felt like I needed a shower after I got out of the shower. LOL

I know at the campground my family used to go to in Lake George NY, you had to have a license to drive the golf carts (they were pay to rent). But we had our bikes, and my dad's trike (motorcycle) when he was able to drive it... We were way cooler than the people who paid for the carts 😎 Ngl I like taking lookie-loos too.. When I'd tool around with my bike, I often took a quick scan of everyone else's campsite... 😂 It's just interesting to see how other people set up.

A golf cart is definitely not made for big shopping trips! But I'm glad you were able to get a lot of things in your hall and I am looking forward to many of those reviews. I know it is hot during the day but I get the impression that once you get back to the house and the evening sets in there's a nice breeze and you could go outside and either just relax on the porch or go for a short walk and feel quite refreshed! I'm telling you I have never been to Florida but with every video you post it is looking better and better! I was hoping you would get to see some manatees and alligators too! 😂

Love the idea of golf carts but not when you have to share the road with regular cars. That would stress me out as the odds aren’t good when it’s a.cart vs a car. Some of the properties looked lovely but I’m sure it costs a premium to stay there with all the fees/levy’s. Thanks for the daily round up.

There is an amenity fee each month and you have a bond on the home unless you buy preowned and the bond has been paid. There are preowned homes starting less than 200,000 and they can go over a million dollars. They have something for every budget.

In NC if you are driving a golf cart on a public road you have to be 16 and have your license on you. I’m not sure about private communities. Too bad they don’t include a cooler for visitors to visit to take and put cold food in. Publix sandwiches are delicious! They are a hidden gem. I bought my husband a birthday cake from Publix and it was amazing. Just loving the golf cart adventures! You guys had a great and busy 2nd day! Loved the recap.
