Tamil Nadu Stray Round Results Released - Cut Off Marks for Govt Quota and Management Quota - Mizpah

Sir, Please do not blame the competition alone for not getting MBBS sests, saying seats are in 1:10 ratio, so there is tough competition. Apart from studies, it seems there is a big scam going on from round 3 onwards, especially for NRE lapsed seats. As per the results of R3, all NRE lapsed were occupied in Round 3(ie all NRE lapsed seats got filled 100% in R3) . But when stray vacancy in R4 was announced 68 NRE lapsed seats became vacant for stray round. So, this means these 68 seats were blocked by 'fake' students and then released for stray round. I have got 286 and applied upgradation in NRE lapsed seats in R3 in Tagore, PSP, Madha medical colleges etc., But, now same NRE lapsed seats in Tagore went for 251, in Madha Medical college 267, in PSP 262. So all these seats went to guys who scored lesser marks than me, even though I had applied in same colleges in Round 3. So basically, those seats available for stray round are actually plucked away from the candidates who applied in R3, by blocking of seats by 'fake' candidates. By the insane rule of selection committee which says that one who got a seat whether MBBS or BDS cannot go for stray round, they have successfully eliminated 100s of students from the competition. I wanted to upgrade from BDS, but this attempt was blocked by fake students. So it is a hollow statement that NEET means merit. It is a luck based system, especially for R3 and R4. The more honest way of filling seats in R3 is, to fill up the vacant seats arising out of deliberate blocking & releasing, by upward movement of the students who are below the vacant seats in the same round itself. If this loophole is not plugged, some rich and powerful people will misuse the stray round to bring in people of their choice, by using the tactics of blocking of seats. Moreover, there was a series of notifications prior R3, with frequent changes in registration dates, exit dates etc. for R2 which had put lot of students in disadvantageous positions as they could not register for AIQ round 3 due to misleading notifications, especially the one which was released after the initial deadline for free exit of R2, 08.10.24, ie notification no.29/SCS1(1)/2024, extending the date for registration in TN state quota from 8th to 13th, and further extending upto 15th Oct. This was extended to favour a group of students who had applied for AIQ R3, whose results were supposed to come on 11th to 12th Oct. What about the 100s of students who missed registration for AIQ for R3, due to their earlier notification dated 4th Oct, mentioning that free exit dates for TN councelling R2 is only allowed from 7th Oct (noon) to 8th Oct (noon), and locked their R2 colleges? They could not even unlock their already locked R2 colleges and get the extension date benefits. No one in TN selection committee was reachable by phone to help us for unlocking the already locked colleges. Sir, It is good that you are encouraging students to study well for NEET exam for 2025. But, please bring up these kind of unfair and unethical practices prevailing in MBBS councelling process. Why the seat filling can not be made like TN vetinerary colleges, where vacant seats are filled automatically by the upward movement of the students. So, if 5 students leave in R2 or R3, for example, in Tagore Medical college, let 5 students who had preferred that college on the same round, say R2, who are below that NEET score fill up those vacant seats in that particular round R2 itself. Why these seats are thrown open to next round, even though students were ready to occupy those seats in that particular round itself. There is no logic and justice in the prevailing system.
