It's good to take your metro to intended direction via some common path. But The double decker metro means the planning is not done well and we'll in advance to avoid overlapping. Overlapping would mean costlier. I'm so worried about the safety of this structure. In future will it support 7/8 racks train ?

Give us smaller mono rail section. Prepare in a way that the coaches can be carried by spl trucks and load them to a stretch and unload for servicing. An sample use case is the areas inside 1) circular route - porur, moulivakkam , mogulivakkam, anakaputhur, pammal , pallavaram, thiruneermalai, nandanbakkam, poonamalli , porur 2) Vellachery to keelkattalai, 3) ashok nagar to Aminjikarai via aryagowda road, cholai high rd, nelson Mannikkam rd 4) smaller rings such as mount road, ra puram, mylapoore, roypetht, Egmore, nungambbakam, panagal park, nandanam, 5) another circular mono around tambaram east west. 6) madhavaram , kodanguir, srf, 100 ft , madhavaram . 7) madhavaram , Redhill, puzhal , Perambalur, madhavaram.

DMK has already shared the proposal for Madurai and Coimbatore metros. ADMK in their 10 years didn't complete any metro project. If DMK gets another 5 years, then Chennai metro phase 2 will be fully complete and work will be in full swing in Madurai and Coimbatore. If INDIA bloc comes to power in 2029 then you can expect significant new projects in TN and southern states.
