Thanks for your information, hope if iam not wrong in 1966/68 in Madras at Stanley Hospital main entrance Govt. was testing soil strength test... I remember and I read that in the Tamil News papers.. After a long period..Metro Tunnel Rail project started in the same place and Washermen pet Railway station at Royapuram became main junction for this project. In that long period Calcutta , Bangalore and Delhi had this projects in commission. Thanks for Metro department.
