Nice Tips.. I am using Celerio AMT. I am physically handicapped person(Both leg affected by Polio), I have adapted ARAI approved Hand control kit for Break and Gas pedal...... Using those hand control i have successfully, safely completely hills like Ooty, Kodaikanal, Munnar, Valparai, Yercaud, Kolli hills, Top Slip (next week planning to Dhimbam)...... My ambition is going to Himalaya hills. Please give tips....Thanks a lot...

Very useful info thanks. In kodaikanal hill road, i travel frequently and find 95 % of people dont horn, not stick to left lane on the road, chase each other by speeding and they practice abosolutly indisiplined driving. Lots of accidents happen, especially the kodai local lorry , van and tourist car operators due to experience without respecting any road rules travel in very high speeds endangering even other civilised drivers. How this problems going to be solved nobody knows.

U should not hold the clutch in binding point often. Usually clutch plate will withstand up to 60 to 75 kms. In ur case it will not last longer for that period. It will worn out earlier.

Half clutch technique is important. Half clutch and press the brake the car vibrates, then slowly release the brake and car moves then give acceleration. Try this technique in shopping malls slopes when you park car there. And like he tells don't try to be a hero while driving. Don't get carried away by people who are driving smoothly or fastly. Also don't try to cover the travel distance in a very short time. Other drivers who have been to hill stations keep bragging about how fast the climbed. Don't take that into mind. Safety first.
