I don't know what Nissan is thinking about Indian market..magnite itself is an unfinished/dropped product from datsun which has lots of fit finish issues and now dumping prefacelift x-trail models from europe to India with such a low profile tyre...dont know to which segmeny it is exactly competing with

In my perspective three cylinders is not an issue..... Becoz Toyota Hyryder and Yaris GRSPORT is a three cylinder engine where u can't feel they are three cylinder engines..... Coming back to x-trail there was more technology in the mechanism to improve efficiency.... In that case complexity and cost in case of repair or failure going to cost u more.... Now u guys say they are planning only for 1500 units... In that case it's just dumping the stagnant pre lift overseas models to the Indian market..... They might re-launch sunny itself to compete dzire / amaze or maxima / altima in the luxury sedan category.... Nissan Path finder or x terra is a proper fortuner competitor....
