I think about people who can’t speak. Being able to speak words that are uplifting of the hopes, spirit & bring a smile to a distress person is a blessing that the person who can’t speak would love to have. Be sure to remember how blessed you are, just having the ability to use your TONGUE.

Elder Jones! I am very grateful for you and your calling. You have always taught The Word Of God will a Spirit of Excellence! I have prayed for you and God will give you strength during this time! Continue to look to the hills from whence cometh your help. All your help comes from the Lord. Psalm 121:1. There is no questions because you don’t leave a stone unturned! That’s a blessing. In all our getting get an understanding! I think about a little leaven leavened a whole lump Gal 5:9. Song of Solomon 2:15 Take us the foxes, the little foxes, that spoil the vines: for our vines have tender grapes. Just the idea of a little thing.. It can help or destroy us. Choose this day how you will tame your tongue!

What a lesson!!! This is so timely we are in a time where people are saying whatever comes to the mind and God isn’t pleased. It is so important that we read and listen to the word of the Lord and say what God says. This is a good lesson, I am sharing it with my team.

Good morning. Thank you Elder Rodney for this lesson. You are in my prayers. I'm still listening to your teaching, I just hadn't been making any comments. I know what you're going through. Many don't understand the weight on pastors and teachers who are called by God. So I feel your pain. My brother, Rev. Dr. Willie Gay passed on June 6th. He was somewhat the pillar of our family. It was such a shock. Went in the hospital on a Wednesday and the Lord called him home on that Friday. We think at some point he contracted the Corona Virus. I did not want to question our all knowing and powerful God about it because I believe my brother made it to heaven. He loved God, his faithful & loving wife, our family and the members that God called him to pastor. Our church started zoom Sunday school the first Sunday this month. I taught last Sunday. It was a new experience for us. The saud I did a good job. To God be the glory. Our pastor has been doing Wednesday noon day Bible study & Sunday morning services via Facebook live & KZbin live since March. I solicit your prayers as we try to adjust to the change we must adapt to for such a time as this. We cannot stop preaching & teaching God's Word. I know that He is in control in spite of what's going on around the world and in this country. Be blessed my brother in Christ. Keep doing what God called you to do. Our reward is laid up in heaven.

Good morning to you my sister and friend, while reading your post it really brought joy to my heart, yes many don’t understand the walk of a Pasot/Teacher, eventhough I love being a Pastor/Teacher, there are days where it kinda takes a toll in my life. There are tons of hours spent just in preparation alone before we stand before anyone to teach them anything. I am praying for the strength for you family, and church as well also. be encouraged and hang on in there, if there is anythig I can do please let me know

Good Morning Elder, Blessings To You 〰️❤️〰️... Thank you for this Short, Sweet, and Simple (made plain) lesson taught in EXCELLENCE!!! Wow, the way you taught this was so plain, although James is a familiar book, you made it so much more exciting, interesting, and ✨💡✨ enlightening... The Q&A that most overlook, “Who can tame the tongue? The Holy Ghost can!”... No more excuses... Love, love, loved this teaching... I believe you deserve a “Thumbs Up! 👍🏼... ✨🙏🏽🆙✨ for you and your Family ✨🕊✨

Thank you so much Elder Jones, GOD Bless you. In regard to this lesson James seems to say that only those GOD has gifted can teach. I concur, however I remember Matthew 28:19 tells believers to go into the world and share the Gospel. I realize this mandate is not necessarily teaching/preaching in a formal manner but in lifestyle example , deed as well as one to one. But did not GOD’S gift of Salvation to each of us equip us to share The Gospel well enough to incite, inspire others to be saved?
@RodneyJonesTeachings4 жыл бұрын
Greetings love love love the statement, and great question. There is I believe a difference between Matthew 28:18, and Ephesians 4:11-12. Teaching is a gift of Jesus to the body to further expand the teaching ministry Jesus had. The great command is different and the contents of the message is different as well. Teachers perfect the people ( the saints) to work the ministry. The great command is to go into all the world to teach them about Jesus and for them to observe what He says. One they get into the body of Christ, there are teachers gifted to equip them.
