Funny when an artist covers a well known song and finally you understand the meaning of the song. I had the same when that Norwegian guy on the voice covered Bruce Springsteen. Even in movies; they made a version of Romeo & Juliet (the one with Douglas Booth) where I finally understood Shakespeare's original words because the acting was great, unlike Baz Luhrmann's Leo Dicaprio version.

Dang! I thought I loved the original (I do) lol BUT, THIIIIS! Wow! He embodies the feeling of life so well, energetically. I can feel every part of the soul he always sings out and pours into his music. The smoothed out soothing, calm content feeling found somewhere in between that anxious fast paced incessantness of it all raining down, and that velvet weighted cloud we so often feel our heads lost in. And just when you get used to it, accept and hand over control. Or in other words.. listen to that age old wisdom that keeps coming back up through out life, which is, “just let it happen”. Rarely it happens that an artist covering a song makes it sound like a completely different one, in the sense of intention and direction of the song I mean. And rarely does the change of frequency bring so much I believe that the original song was experienced on a very deep level by this beautiful man,so he could, once tapped into it, freely dance with the song, as they became so familiar with each other. It's like the original songwriter,in this case Kevin Parker, after approving Tamino as worthy enough,let him dance with the song. So Tamino danced with the song,which became a woman for the purpose of the dance, till the end of an ethereal night. It's like a collision of his oriental roots with western civilization That's at least what I heard in this one.
