Sorry I missed the première. The landing gear is excellent. Per the previous discussion about displaying a merlin engine, please take a look at Video 140 of the Lancaster Restoration. The video shows a replacement merlin for the Mosquito at the museum.

The features that you have just painted brown are rollers for the U/C door retraction cables. The cables run from the cross over brackets between the U/C, legs around the rollers to the front edge of the U/C door, inside the door to a pulley, then attached to a rubber bungee cord to give tension and keep the doors closed. The doors are opened by the U/C legs pushing against them and the bungee tension. That’s what the guards on the front of the legs are for. The cables can be added to the model for authenticity!

Fascinating Bruce thanks for that information - I might take a look at replicating that detail👍

Just want to say: thank you for all the work you have put in your videos. I just watched the Snowberry serie (I am currently builidng that one myself), but I have learned so many litttle tips and tricks from your work...invaluable! I have always struggled with photo etch, but through your videos I now have a more clear understanding on how to deal with it. So once again: thanks and keep up the good work!

The Mossie is coming along great and I am looking forward to seeing it on its wheels. From the shot at the end of the video this is a large kit and I hope you have room in your display case for it. Thanks for the video's of the build the techniques you use will be of an assist when I finally get around to building the 1/48 scale ones I have in my stash. Keep up the good work.

First class build as always, I'd love to see you build the border models Lancaster, it would be a masterclass.

A few people have said that but it’s not one for me David. The HK will do for me in 1/48 and I can’t justify £600 when I’ve so much waiting to be built.☹️

@@TheModelShed fully understand that, if border were looking to promote the kit there wouldnt be a better place to send one to show off its potential👍

Reminds me of the nice black & white factory picture of a girl spraying a Mosquito undercarriage leg in situ, complete with masking paper! It is about online if interested

She could do with masking that wheel off a bit more. It wouldn’t pass muster in the Shed 😬

Dont know if it's stupid or not, but why not put a thin ring of milliput/green stuff in the wheel hole and push the hub before it harden( maybe with glue). It will( I think) help centering the hub and make a "nice" joint.
