Hurray!!! Is the pilot figure included or did you have to get it aftermarket? If aftermarket...where? I think jets should be modeled airborn, so I need a pilot inside " flying it"!!!

It's a wonderful build. Before watching this video, I was thinking of making an F35b with a pedestal, but the BEAST mode of the 35a is cool, so I would definitely use it as a reference.😊

This is awesome. but i never understand a coat of paint only to be completely covered by another coat of paint.
@platoki Жыл бұрын
Thank you for your comment! I apply cross coat before decal and after decal, then finish with mat clear coat. Because if we apply mat coat too much, mat element sink in the bottom and start grossing. I hope I answered your question if not please let me know, thanks!
@kudukilla Жыл бұрын
Sometimes it helps to bring the color out. I’ll put a layer of buff underneath where I’m going to use yellow. Helps the yellow look right. Similarly a lot of people put pink under red to get a proper looking red. There’s also primer, but that’s to help see imperfections and to help the paint grab onto the plastic.
@davidnickisson2555 Жыл бұрын
It's very rarely completely covered, by airbrushing you can easily control how much of the underlying paint shows through, allowing you to layer effects. Different primer coats tend to affect the top coat in unique ways too, to add vibrancy and depth (for instance a brown primer) or contrast and easy coverage (black basing). In the end it really depends on the desired end result

What engineers of Lockheed Martin didn't do, the Tamiya's engineers did it. Despite being such an ugly plane, Tamiya add their touch of magical beauty, in every minimum detail, and the "Saint's Hand" of Platoki, makes the difference. With a superb and awesome skills of Platoki we have a "beautyful" F-35. Máster Modeller Platoki......I salute you, from Guatemala, The Land of Quetzal Bird, Símbol of Freedom.

Superb video, thank you. So the Tamiya F35 kits is something brand new in the modelling genre - Most model kits are detailed plastic kits that include some decals to apply for the finishing touches. This Tamiya kit its a set of decals ... a big set of decals, that also comes with some handy plastic parts to finish off the decals with.
