Reviewing Tamiya's 1/48, Focke-Wulf Fw 190 A-8/A-8 R2, aircraft kit, released in 2005, under Kit No. 61095.
This nicely detailed kit includes, a seated pilot figure, 1/48 scale camouflage painting guide, Tamiya's standard assembly instructions with colour call-outs throughout (Tamiya colours only), comprehensive decal sheet, cockpit canopy paint masks, a detailed cockpit with instrument decals (optional), and pilots seat belts, plus the optional parts, propellers, cowlings, etc. to build the two Fw 190 A-8 variants featured in the kit; the "standard" A-8 or the up-armoured A-8 R2 with extra cockpit (clear side plates), and fuselage armour (decal) etc.. Also included are Painting & Marking Guides for 5 individual, late war, Focke-Wulf pilots.

Lovely looking kit for one near 20 years old. Great to see a pilot figure as well, more companies could learn a thing here, so this one's going on the stash list. Thanks for a great vid my friend.

Thanks mate. Just built Tamiya's Fw 190 A-3, and it was smooth sailing all the way. Tamiya just knows how to build them just right. And this one should be no different. Glad you liked the video! Cheers!

Your still allowed to use swastikas for your model kits to make them historically accurate if you choose to. That’s totally fine.

ENTIRELY BUILDABLE... Yes, the EDUARD A-8 is a beautiful kit, but this one, on average, COSTS HALF AS MUCH, if one knows where to look...

Most definitely. Yes, the Eduard Fw190 is a really nice kit, but, as you say, at around double the price, I think I'd rather have 2 Tamiya Fw's! Cheers and thanks for looking in!
