"What ESC is in that?" LOL! The dead one unfortunately! We all have done it, puddles are like RC kryptonite! We just help it and we are drawn to them!!! Thankfully not a terribly expensive fix. As always great video!!

What I didn’t mention was we have lost another ESC from that day also, I blame the murky pothole water as it’s not just moisture but it’s the grains of muck 🤣😂👍

Hey you guys go to all the most glamourous locations! Oh that's a bit sad about your ESC 🙁 It's a good thing that the new Tamiya kits come with the rebranded waterproof Hobbywing one because these cars always end up under water no matter how hard you try to avoid it! Great stuff 😁👍👍

That was a awesome video, the Brat is a fast RC. looking forward to seeing the new body. Sorry to hear that the Chief Engineer had to get a new esc for the Brat, maybe a snorkel would have been a good idea on this day. Another wonderful video, thanks for sharing.💯💯

Hey, another great running of the Subaru sprinkler, sorry I mean Subaru Brat 😂😊😂, well was great until the chief engineer pushed his luck a bit 😂😊😂 still, the TBLE’s aren’t so good with water, perhaps put and other TBLE’s into a balloon (not the adult kind that Steven Seagal used in the under siege movie 😂😂) before installing them in the car 😊 great video. best wishes 😊

We have gone with a Hobbywing now, to save any barbershop mods, and the steering has been looked at so it should be a new beast now 👍

In someways it was a good thing as it’s given us time to look at it and the Chief Engineer has looked for a steering mod for it as I think as it was it was worse than a rudder 🤣😂👍

Crikey, Rectum.... sorry, Wrexham looks a bit grim! Another wet video guys, but very entertaining non the less. The Brat looked like great fun out there..... but let's be honest- It was going to end up in the drink sooner or later wasn't it? 🤔 As soon as I saw that murky, water filled cavern I knew it would be majic blue smoke time! 😂 I'm guessing the ESC on the Brat is located in the same place as the monster beetle? (next to the steering servo.... nice and low, and directly behind the front wheels to guarantee it will get a soaking?!!) In hindsight, not the best place Tamiya! 🙄 Sorry to hear of its passing lads, it happens to the best of us.... I done it to a servo last week. Generally if we have an ESC get submerged we disconnect the battery quickly, then put it in a bowl of rice for two weeks (no sweet and sour, just plain rice)..... sometimes we are lucky.... but I'm guessing from the smoke, that one is toast! If I'm running any ORV chassis cars in the wet or snow I move the ESC higher up the chassis, it fits nicely on top towards the rear of the space frame. Better still, bearing in mind it literally rains every time you go out..... waterproof electronics are definitely the way forward. The hobby wing WP 1060 should be just the ticket. Loved seeing the Brat in action though, looks great in that colour! Roll on summer eh lads. 👍 👍 👍

It was a grim old place and I didn’t know we would find out how deep the pot holes were by that method, I think he has now put a hobby wing in it just to be safe. He has also done a steering mod on the brat as out of the box the steering is shocking and front wheels buckle all the time, we will do a video on this. Anyway off out tomorrow just hope it stays dry! 🤞

This one is PS 13 gold but it’s not been backed with any other colour. They do look great in blue though 👍
