thanks man, as this build came along I kept changing what body I wanted now it's land rover.... lol
@stephenh.30947 жыл бұрын
110 or 90? Have you decided on a mfg. Yet? There's a couple cool d90 bodies on ebay for great value. Scale hardbodies with interiors. Can't remember the mfg. But it's not rc4wd. Best to you. Like to see it when it's done. Lot of good stuff on that rig
@tilligetbig7 жыл бұрын
it's a d90, hard body. I like how the tamiya cc01 chassis is not that wide and it allows all the tires to be inside the body, making it more scale I think. I just got a gear reducer on it now and a outside cage on the d90

I've personally found that the most important upgrades/modifications to a CC-01 are a high-torque metal geared servo (duh), and better tires, even cheap ebay ones will do. I am going for a "rally dakar" look on my Landfreeder, only things still missing are an LED kit, and a shell. If anyone knows where to find a shell that will fit the CC-01's wheelbase length- and width-wise, please tell me as I can't find any myself. I'd really appreciate it.

have no idea, it's still not finished!, I got caught up in all my hobbies. I have changed the body to a d90 with full cage and bumper + winch. I got a gear reduction to make it go slower... it's almost complete just need to put the body together + paint. I'm actually thinking about selling it.

Judging from his voice at the time of making this video, he was probably somewhere around 18 years old, so it'd make sense for him to live at his parents'. Also you're almost 4 years late to the party so I'll leave it to you to figure out what part of your statement made no sense.
