hi,sometimes you do not need the full stroke of the additional shock. or you do not want it to pop out fast. so you use the negative spring to adjust the movement. I have a soft negative spring now.

good idea! don't have a cc01 yet but I'm really thinking about buying one, I always wondered why don't most people just upgrade and get bigger shocks in the back? say 90mm... thanks though!

@tilligetbig hi,I think the cc01 is a very good scale kinda chassis,or at least it can be turned into that. so I would always keep it looking scale.

hi,I have built a new version in the meantime. very soft negative spring! bigger tires with weights inside. check out the two Wrangler BIGFOOT vids. the second one I have posted today.

hey wupper ever find a way to cure the slop? I have yet to see one that actually works that dosent require an engineering degree :)

***** sloppy steering can be cured! I use the GPM steering kit. use rigid servo arm,without servosaver! And I replaced the two links that connect to the uprights with links from a TT-01 steering kit ,also from GPM. too complicated? I can post a short clip if you want!

wupperRC nah not complicated. i have ehad so much bad about the gpm git i kinda dont want to go for it but the rest i was thinking about my self but if you want i am shure people beyond me would enjoy a video on it

+jacobww1 hi,just using longer shocks makes no difference. and the Tamiya shocks work well. I do not want the chassis to stand taller,I want the axle to go beyond the point of fully extended shock only when it has to. ....amd only when the other shock is compressed.
