I don't know where to begin because I'm moved. This last video from 2019 and the DT series touched me Mikael. First of all thank you! Thank you for having accompanied me so kindly and sympathetically in my beginnings as a hobbyist. I don't think I could have found a better guide. Thank you for this very rich 2019 year where you made me discover so many things. Thank you for sharing your time, your intimacy sometimes, all these videos represent a huge amount of work! I'm very happy to hear that you'll be a father again in 2020, congratulations, that's great! ( On my side, I'm afraid of becoming a grandfather. . . but I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it won't happen too soon. . . ). Thanks for this great Sunday series: the DT chassis! It was really excellent. This choice for the bodywork of the Mad-Bull is great, I think it looks just like you! No matter what the purists say, your Mad Bull is great. Now it's my turn to wish you and your family (which is growing!) a happy new year 2020. Receive all my wishes for deep peace. I'm sure there's a lot more I wanted to tell you, but emotion makes me lose my words. . . And once again my friend from the north: M E R C I!

Thank you, Alex! I am moved by your words. It has been a pleasure talking to you here in 2019. I have discovered so many things by fellow hobbyists here on youtube too, so I think it is great we can inspire each other. And thank you for the congratulations. Ha ha, yeah, becoming a grandfather is a big step :-) I am a little afraid becoming a father again, since I'm not getting any younger and besides the love and joy it brings, it also brings a lot of work. Should have gotten the children as a young man :-) Well, looking forward to it anyway. I wish you all the best for 2020, Alex, to you an your family. Hopefully you will become a grandfather one day soon :-) I feel you have a lot of love to bring to the next generations. Merci, my friend, for being here.

Oh Mikael. What an excellent video. Angie and I watched it together, and when we saw your news at the end we both cried out with joy. We wish you and your wife "mange lykønskninger" and send you all our love. ❤❤ We are so happy for you both my friends xxx This video is a great journey and we enjoyed it very much. Seeing your son's Lego brought back many happy memories for me. It was my favourite toy when I was a child. 😍 It was nice to see your son also received another RC for christmas. His collection is also growing now. You will have to convert another room soon so he can have his own Hobby room! When Angie saw your shelves in your hobby room she kept saying "You must do that, you must do that" ha ha ha. I'm very impressed with your collection, and it looks so good on display. Your Fighter Buggy RX looks very happy there too. I was also very pleased to see your XB Fast Attack Vehicle. That was a nice surprise. They are great buggies, and very iconic too. A fantastic addition to your collection my friend. 😊👍👍 Now you need the Wild One! he he. I really like the way you finished your Mad Bull. You made the correct choice to use the same candy green colour and Grasshopper decals for all of them. They look like the perfect "Grasshopper Racing Team" when they are together. We wish you and your beautiful family "et godt nytår" Lots of love from Angie and me ❤❤ xxx ps I thought the music was perfect! 😊👍👍

Thank you so much, Derek and angie! Oh, wow, you watch RC videos together? That's so amazing... and thank you to both of you. Yes, a lot of love and ... work awaits for me. Luckily there's almost 6 months left. I am not getting any younger. Sometimes I wish I had these children when I was a young man. But it's a choice I took, so I must activate some hidden energy, and wait till I am retired to relax and sleep :-) No, seriously, I am looking forward to it. Ahh yes, LEGO. My memories are filled with LEGO too. My favorite toy too, until the mid-80's when I found RC cars, and then afterwards music (and girls). I have been so close to turning LEGO into an adult hobby too a few times. Just love building it. But luckily the son is all into LEGO too, so we can enjoy it together. Ha ha, yeah, he will soon need both a LEGO rooim and an RC room only for him :-) Ahh, well, with your children away, and a large house, there surely must be room for some RC shelves for you? It's a great way of storing them. Saves a lot of space. The Wild One yes. Would actually prefer the Wild One over the FAV, but this one was on sale some time, so I bought it, but never even unboxed it. But it will be soon :-) Yeah, the Candy Green Grasshopper Team. Looks great together. But now I need A Mad Fighter too. But will wait. But the Mad BULL/GH3 and the Fighter Buggy RX looks great together ... I wonder what the RX stands for ... and then there is the Fighter Buggy SV ... Hmm, maybe it's a Tamiya secret, just like the 'CVA' shocks. Hope you are enjoying your new Mad Bull project too. Looking forward seeing it together with the Fighter Buggy and the Mad Fighter very much. Best wishes to both you and Angie, my friend. Wishing you, your children and grandchildren all the best in 2020 :-)

Goddag Mikael! What a perfect finale for this series! Loved the whole video. Wonderful to see how well you have done in your new home, and a peek at Jr's presents too! Oh my - he will soon have a brother or sister, this is fantastic news my friend, congratulations to you and Mrs! There is so much in this video to comment on that I really don't know where to start. Your hobby room and car collection is spectacular, something to be very proud of. And the DT-01 is just perfect, what a transformation from the stock kit, I think that all your modifications were spot-on, especially the livery and wheels/tyres! A very fitting stablemate to the 02 and 03, just amazing. I know how much time and effort it must have taken to make this series, thank you so much from this enthusiast, all of your videos this year have given me great pleasure. I am extremely happy to call you my friend, this journey had been so much fun and I pray it will be able to continue in 2020 and beyond. Sending you and your lovely family my heartfelt good wishes for a peaceful and prosperous New Year. Love and peace, Your friend Mark...

There is so much in this comment that I do not know where to start ☺️ Especially on the mobile phone youtube studio where one can’t read the comment while one is responding 😅 But thank you for the nice feedback. I really like the result myself. Goes well together with both my Hoppers and the other DT’s. And best thing is I can always paint the other Mad Bull body and fit the wheels if I want some Mad Bull action. I’m so glad you followed along on the build. It was a fun thing, building all three at the same time. Looking forward running them when the weather clears up. Looking forward seeing what is going to happen in 2020, both here on KZbin ... and the rest ☺️ I wish you and the Mrs. and your children love and all the best in 2020 and I am looking forward following the Mark Bryan RC 2020 🙂

Will miss your videos, Mal. Learned a lot from them. I still have a few of your videos from 2019 to watch, this was a crazy busy year, so I can still watch some, but after that I will really miss new videos from you. But yeah, I understand you. I will slow down the frequency of videos here in 2020 too. Too much work, for an uncertain platform like youtube. I think 7% is quite normal. My view rate has not gone up too, even with a lot of new subscribers. But that's the road KZbin has taken. It all depends on getting new videos out to non-subscribers. And with KZbin only promoting the real popular videos nowadays, it's hard to get anything out there these days. And so many new channels coming up these days. So I will definitely also keep it on a hobby level, with no stress attached, in 2020. I would love to visit the facebook group more, but hardly ever visit my own facebook. Maybe it's just a habbit that needs to change slowly here in 2020. Clicking on facebook instead of youtube.

@@NordicRC But after watching this video, I don't know if I should built a Mad Bull but buggy version like your, or a Grasshopper 2 with some spare parts I couldn't have when I was younger ? Like oil dampers (better than springs), and ball bearings ? It's a hard choice ! :) Moreover, I already own a DT-02, it's better from far than the DT01.
@NordicRC4 жыл бұрын
Solution: Get both a DT-01 and a Grasshopper II ;-) And yeah, well, never get a DT-01 or other of the older Hoppers for their capability. It's simply a faulty design. But that's the fun of it. They are crazy and unpredictable. And such a iconic design too.

Great stuff! What do you think of the DT-01 chassi when compared to the Grasshopper and Grasshopper 2 chassis? Was the center-joint in the lower middle any good? Did it improve the axle-mount motor concept?
@NordicRC4 жыл бұрын
Hi Tomas. I haven’t tried any of my DT-01’s yet. But I have a similar after market mod on my Rising Fighter (Grasshopper II chassis with DT-01 gear box) transmission brace/center-joint. It certainly stops the ‘clank clank’ sound/motion of the gear box on throttle. And in theory it should make the car more stable. But it of course doesn’t stop the ‘pulling’ direction of the motor, which also pulls on the gear box and shocks - so we still have more or less useless hard shocks in the back when giving throttle.
@uncletom19714 жыл бұрын
I see, hmm... well it seem as Tamiya tried the 'scooter' concept on four wheels, instead of two as in real scooters. But what if the motor, or gearbox were oriented the opposite way, to counter the motor-pulling?
@NordicRC4 жыл бұрын
Tomas Dahlgren Yeah, I think that would be better. They actually shifted it around on the DT-02/03 (as well as adding double wishbone)
