Great video, start to finish! The action footage was a lot of fun. This channel has great content. Cool.

Yes I can see this looks like tamiyas best hopper solid axle chassis they made...looked much more smooth than a hornet for sure! Nice video.

My snow and the ice just melted off the lake, so inspired to get started on a track. Living RC life vicariously through this channel right now! Can’t wait until supply chains get back on track up here. Keep up the solid shows eh! 🇨🇦🤟🏻 Tamiya needs to RE-RE the King Cab next 👌🏼

Good review ! I loved building and running mine, if you put some heat shrink over the steering servo linkage bar or use a small turnbuckle that will take out some of the slop in the steering. I also use different tyres on mine and that gave more positive steering as well. Very cool enjoy

Surprised it turned pretty good on track but a set of jconcepts rips up front would make it better but its not my buggy 🤷♂️

Another thing, the body needs a few coats of TS-13 after you have applied the decals, it helps a lot.

I was never a fan of the body on this version, but I had a Mad Fighter ( same chassis with a different body) and entered it in a endurance race for fun running against all the top cars of the day, and believe it or not it won the race, because of the light weight chassis batteries lasted long and the tires didn't wear out.

Looks fantastic in that livery. Seems a little nose heavy but I guess that helps with turn in. Nice little buggy IMO

Bought this car purely on how awesome it looks. Good thing its good looking because it runs like a turd. That long wheel base makes it steer about as good as a battle ship. As you mentioned, tons of slop in the front end. I dont see any advantage in the suspension over a Hopper or Hornet, if there is, its not much. Anyway, yes, Tamiya did well with the kit looks wise. Ari, you video editing is really on point, good job! I love how Harry's wife is doing yard work while you guys play 😂.

As for comparing to hoppers this is better it still hops but not nearly as much. The hoppers hop so much on track its tough to go full throttle without backend moving out of like and makimg you go right into a pipe. This i can go full throttle but yes steering is sloppy

I used to have the original on the white with the yellow rims with red white and blue decals I so want this new one it's so much better looking and it comes with oil filled shocks which the other one didn't I would still get the other one that I had too if they had that out too.

I hope you'll race it I erased mine in dirt track oval with some people I was friends with at the time it actually beat some of their losis and associated around the track I run a couple of races around their small track against them.

I wonder what this dude had on his wife to allow him to chew up the garden and have race nights for all the boys? I figure it must be pretty big as it looks like she’s a bit of a gardener, so I’m going for one of the following: 1 - Dog fighting 2 - Devil worship 3 - Gnomes in the front garden 4 - Dominatrix 5 - 13 previous husbands who all died in mysterious circumstances
