YEAH BUDDY!!! Orchard Raceway is ON! - That poor Grasshopper is trying it's hardest, isn't it? But man, the limited suspension in the rear and the over-active suspension up front make it a little unpredictable for the driver, lol! - I loved the new intro, Craig. That was fantastic! - As the saying goes: "You don't drive a Grasshopper, the Grasshopper drives you." - Ancient RC Proverb. :)

There is nothing truer in RC than the Grasshopper driveth the man! It was fun for the four laps it lastest but alas it wasn’t to be this season for the poor old girl. If she finishes bottom there is a 380 sport tuned for her. Let’s see how the others go over the next few weeks. Thanks for watching pal 🙌🏻

Hi there Craig! Well the first buggy to go was probably the most iconic Tamiya of all. But boy oh boy did it struggle around the bumpy course! Living up to it's name for sure! Hoptastic mate! Loved the narration this new season and the slomo replays are a lovely touch. What a way to start, this can only get better as the competition hops up (pun intended! 😅😅) All the best matey! 😎👊👍

Hey Mark, thanks for watching pal. The Grasshopper certainly got out there and did its thing!! I think thought the time was reasonable but having now drove the Frog I am not sure it was such a good time for the old girl. Thanks for your comments about the video presentation this year matey. Let the battle commence!! Great opening run Craig! 👍 I didn't think that was bad at all in all honesty fella. The trusty Hopper doing exactly what it says on the tin! When you see these things in action, it shows just how important good quality oil dampers are to a cars performance, these things really do just 'pogo'!!! I know this one has hornet dampers on the rear, but I don't think they are much better than pogos to be honest! Loving the new slick production mate, awesome season opener! 👍 👍 👍

Hey Jeremy, may the season commence!! The Grasshopper is usually first out the gate as it is my oldest RC. Always fun but that tree root always gets it with that huge front bumper!!

Morning Mads, I am pleased that the content is enjoyed. I am still refining it for 2024 but I think it is progressing nicely at the moment. The Grasshopper is out for this year and heads back to the shelf. I wonder if it will be treated to an upgrade in the off season for finishing last??

An appropriate one to kick off the season and it did well. They bounce and skitter around on smooth surfaces so it did well out on the grassy track! Looking forward to the rest of the season.

3th shock mod works brilliant to tame the trailing axle. The hornet has it worse at it not only tilts, it also lifts the gearbox under torque. The grasshoppers had the pivoting pin.

It did ok didn’t it. I mean it is a fast track and I expected times to be quicker than 2023 but the hopper also hops!! The track still needs a little TLC

Hey there Moe, so there is a mix of motors but the old Grasshopper did have a 540 in bit that extra weight doesn’t make it any easier to drive! I have a 380ST which will get in there at some point. Cars are upgraded as we go on the Orchard so the line up is constantly getting a little update and refresh as we go along. Thanks for watching pal 🙌🏻

Very nice run, but when are the upgrades coming? Especially a 540 motor will speed it up and some oil filled shocks. Anyway great start for the season.

Hey 👋🏻 upgrades do happen to the runners on the OR. These hoppers were going to be retired but the first run was so much fun I decided to keep them moving. Last place in each category is allowed something to keep it moving in the right direction. The Grasshopper is never last 😁
