I love it when you save money it gives you more to look forward to u can put more money into it with out the guilt trip ur right I think the ower bids on it so he or she can make up for the up grades I just got a hot shot with a air supply motor the motor is worth more than the car I feel lucky about my purchase I always check my electrics sounds like u got lucky she looks like a keeper and I think it's a great memory she's a runner alright did he just say heaps of other kits coming too the channel I'm stay glued to too the channel for get being in tuned I'm staying in tact I need to start looking into cleaners and degreasers and polishes so that way I can have my car's looking nice and be proud to show them off like a pro ima start working on my skillsets ps just fix the front light don't fix the light bar because u might roll it over and break it again I dig that one light looks like a barn find beautiful car love the stickers and the wheel color bro look at the rare kits behind u that's one expensive kool wall professionally done I'm super happy with the channel

I was fortunate a couple of years ago be have been borrowed an original one of these from the 90s by a work friend. He had is stored at his mothers since he was a child and gave it to me for a short while to fix up a little and get it running again. It great to see how things have changed and developed over the years

The best solution for lowering the prices is a re-re. But your rig works out of the box. 👍 To get my original Blackfoot running I had more than doubled the price of the kit by adding a ball diff and rear double-wishbone suspension.

Yeah I agree. A re re does take cause an initial drop in values, although historically values then climb. Yep upgrades are always expensive.

my wild dagger came with dampers with almost no travel- just got a decent deal on 4 King Blackfoot dampers, they will be great, and the red will be nice and keeping it Tamiya, was preferred, already have the extended shock towers, from HK, Have a regular Blackfoot Ree Ree in box, want to paint it primer black.

It’s a nice truck and a good price, those bodies are pretty rare but eventually one will pop up at a good price. The bright side is you can run and not be too worried about tearing it up .

Im loving your videos mate. What a cool score, as a orv fanboy any of the black foots would be awesome. I ran a Blackfoot body on my first beetle 20 odd years ago for a while but went back to beetle. I pray this ridiculous market dies down and I can start looking for some used cars to restore again. Please please please do a give away with it 😄.

Great looking refurb. If you don't mind, what process/products do you use to polish the body/parts?

I clean the dirt off with hot soapy water. Then I use a fine car polish and small buffer pad on a drill. You need to be careful around the decals, then you can follow with a wax or quick detailer.

@@RCACTIONAUSTRALIA I picked one up myself for £95. Has a vintage Ripmax no limit ESC in it which is worth a pretty penny itself. Gearbox on these is way better than the original BF.
