I think these vids are a great mix-up for you. I too was into RC about 30 years ago. Crazy to think its been that long. I recently got back into it, and love seeing that Tamiya and Kyosho are re-releasing their old cars like these.

I started in 1997 with an associated buggy with the servo slide speed control. I look back and feel the same way, nostalgic. Love everything you do on here. Always full of great info. Keep up the awesome job man!!!

My first hobby grade car was a Tamiya hornet and it lasted about 15 minutes before something broke, so back to the hobby shop I go and purchased a Traxxas Rustler and the rest is history. That was in 1991, been running Traxxas beating up on Associateds and Losis' ever since lol.

i just finished doing the same thing except mine was a tamiya hornet.. i built my first one 20 years ago and then i just came across a kit and had to get it again so i built it again 20 years later and wow what a treat it was..

So keV here's the thing .. I couldn't give a rats arse about a old plastic tamiya ! BUT !! Just because your building one I'm hooked ! Your a very entertaining person and it comes try natural to you .. I think most people on here can relate to their first RC and the struggle to build it !! And then the maintenance after seen as tamiya has always. Are you buy a full parts pack ! Here at 40k subs and still waiting on the notification daily ... Keep doing whatever your doing mate because it's working 100k here we come !!!!!

What up my brotha Kev! My bad I’m late today I was downloading a vid! I had the radio shack special as a kid I asked Santa Claus for a tamiya grasshopper n I’m still waiting for it,lol! Me n a fellow youtuber we’re thinking about doing some tamiya rc builds,with both of us doing the same builds n seeing how each other’s comes out n letting the subscribers choose the winner n then keep doing the builds if people like them. Defiantly enjoy this types of videos, you could do a build guide once a month, so people like me could look forward to them. You could do the re-release old skool & newer models, just an idea. My first car was the midnight pumpkin, then a few years later a kyosho Audi S4 touring car (can't remember the chassis though) around 1998/99.

right on kevin back in the day i had a grass hopper i bought used r and then a pumpkin which was my first build then a clod i wish traxxas would go back to making kits again and not just everything rtr yes i know they have the bronco kit im talking race trucks and buggies like the hawk monster truck, the bullet and trx buggies and blue eagle race truck with slipper clutch and ball diffs which i had and raced and beat many rc10ts and losi jrxts with one of the best race trucks i owned back in the early 90's

Definately more on the old school builds. I'm currently fixing a tamiya baja king up that i acquired and and old school tamiya tommi makkonen rallycar. Baja king now has traxxas bandit electrics just to test it and planning on upgdading both to modern esc and motors etc.
