Their main stores are located in Tokyo and Shizuoka, but there's probably more retail toystores or hobbyshops that sell this kit in Tokyo. I'm not really from Japan but I think the best way for you to buy this kit is through online stores. You may find this expensive though because this kit is rare nowadays and is out of stock. Goodluck on finding one.

Not sure where to find one nowadays, I've never heard of Tamiya restocking this model after it's gone out of stock. There could be some resellers out there that would sell at a higher price.. good luck on finding one.

I didn't buy it, it was given to me as a gift from my friend in japan :)

Yes indeed, This kit was actually released on 2019 then it got popular until it ran out of stock. Nowadays it's the scalpers, collectors or resellers that sell this kit on a high price which is 6 times or more than it's actual srp. Also what's funny was there's a lot of fake, Knock off or third-party brands that sell this kit on a price a bit more than the original kit's srp, and they're low quality and not carbon fiber. All I can say is I consider myself lucky I got this kit... 😊
