So I just had done the TBG Super 959 9th scale and I was very happy With the MCI Repro decals. Other than the decals for the lights which I masked and painted by hand for LEDs they were spot on. I do wish I would have taped the decals first to get my lines. Never have nor would have thought of doing it that way. Brilliant idea. It came out great but it was an absolute bear to do. That’s why I love your channel, no matter how long you have been into the hobby you continue to learn new tricks to perfect your skills. Thanks Big G

U can use a lighter on the rounded areas just pass it quickly on the sticker and flatten it with your nail works well helps the sticker to stretch and take the body’s rounded shape

TAMIYA Legends u can do a test on any old body / decals you have, chose any wobly area so u can get used at the amount of heat required and the max u can apply before burning the decals :)

Great build. What a marathon unbelievable. It looks epic. I was thinking to do something similar as I was always fond of the 959 but I would never get one as they are very expensive and too fragile. I can only reply if KZbin sends me a notification that you’ve commented, which doesn’t really happen 😤 When I launch a new video I purposely follow the comments for the first 48hrs and I try to reply to all, after that I only see new comments through notifications. You did an excellent job on this build. You should scan the body and upload it and the decal sheet to your computer then edit the decal sheet to fit the body and photoshop and edit it to be a perfect fit then print out the customized sticker sheet or leave it online so others may try this great homage to the original

Speechless - what a beauty , was such a great video was better than a latest movies on the theater , just loved it totally and now im so anxious to start to builld mine , just waiting for the 22 bearings to arrive as i got the car in less than 48 hrs from New Zealand Auckland to Melbourne Australia , thanx to our friends at DHL but yes what a great car , just deciding on box art or a two tone Andrew Reece design to be unique , dont know but just happy to have one in my collection at this stage and thanks to Glen for bringing this model Tamiya to my attention another reason i love this channel, cheers Glen and if you have any suggestions on what i could do with it would love to hear them,cheers bud. :-)
