Welcome to my channel and thank you for taking the time to view this video.
This is the Tamiya Rock Socker on Tamiya's answer to a crawler chassis. This awesome model comes as standard with a 540 size motor, a single speed centre gearbox, the ability to choose to have locked / unlocked front & rear axle differentials, front & rear barrel spring, with separate oil shock absorbers, metal chassis rails, four link front and rear chassis links, soft tires and detailed plastic bead lock wheels, the ability to choose to have the optional four wheel steering option, part ball bearing and part metal bearings and a highly detailed polycarbonate body.

I really like the servo platform that the servo sits on. I think that's a nice touch as it's a pretty large to accommodate a number of different servo options. But once finished I really like how solid the whole setup is!

You assembled a very nice looking front axle here John with a very nice a quality steering servo. I use these for most of my 1/10 crawlers and cars when they need replacing or upgrading! Love how axle mounted steering set fit perfectly! Another step in the books for this model! 👊🏼🍻 Kind regards to you and yours my friend! 👋🏻😃

Awesome build John. The access to the servo for maintenance later isn't the best idea they had, but the steering's great protected.

Hi John, that Servo has some serious torque, I have used them in a few of my 12th scale rc. Seems like the servomhas a lot of protection from limbs and large rocks. I'm getting anxious to see the finished product. Wonder job like always, take care and best wishes to you and the family 💯💯💯💯💯💯
