Its truly amazes me the difference in what you can do with models these days. It's about 30 years since I made a model of any kind. At the time I though I was ok. This is so far beyond what I was capable of it leaves me ashamed of the photos I kept. Still, I will happily come back and sit in awe of every new build.

@Chicken George ik that scratch build is harder than buying and building a kit but he's very good at it. I have seen some techniques from him that I haven't seen anywhere. He's a very talented modeler. I would recommend to watch a video from KZbin that is called "fleet from matchsticks".

Fun fact about the T54-55-62, they were meant to be interim models prior to the introduction on the T-72, but due to the repeated delays in design and production of the latter, they were thrust into an unplanned "mainstay" status, were they performed excellently. Love from the US bro!

В ваших видео всегда много интересных решений, облегчающих сборку и покраску. Смотрю, учусь и использую. Но тут пару моментов.. Шов на брезентовой маске орудия не убрали. Высветление на мой взгляд оказалось чрезмерным.

I got hooked on Takom Armor. Since building the King "Late", I've built 3 others, JagdTigers, {both versions} and the Initial Production King kit. Now I'm on to their Panther kits {DasWerk}. Like you say "Straight forward build". I'll be going back to my P-47's soon enough, but this is a good break. OK, I see how you've got the weathering down, maybe I'll give that a try on my "Early" Panther under construction. I like how the T-55 came out. OH! You're in the deep end now! I like how you can easily view the right side tracks under "water". Beautiful dio Dusan! I LIKE IT! Congrats!

Soviet tanks are my genre, I too have many T-55 kits, inc the old ESCI one you mentioned, still in cellophane iirc. Last year Revells 1/72 t-55 was a dang affordable $9US, the price has since doubled to $17US. sad. On my list to get - a MiniArt T-55 with full interior !!

No, did you saw maby? the Ammo products as well and others? Tamiya is one of my favourite brands. The kit, paints and tools are sponsored by my wallet.
It's not lazy using a template ...I can't hand paint 1/35 wheels...let alone 1/48 ones....coffee and age..... Your videos always make me want to jump up and hit the bench. My bench area looks like a grenade went off...

would make more sense near a tactical heliport or a diorama with other vehicles. I think in this case the modeler wanted to show some techniques with less use of materials
@adamjohnston27744 жыл бұрын
Everyone does?
@jordyncollier9193 жыл бұрын
Yes, i know this was 6 months ago, lol, but the "everyone" youre refering to doesnt exist. Tamiya makes both 1/35 and 1/48 tanks, the former being the more popular option. As stated by another commenter, the 1/48 vehichles are used in conjunction with other common vehichles in the b1/48 scale. Plus, its a good middle sized scale, where maybe you dont want the small 1/72 tanks, or the big 1/35 tanks, due to physical limitations.
