Wow, what a thing!! It goes really, really well, and I was surprised how fast it was with the 21-turn motor in it. Personally, as much as I like the Formula E bodyshell, I'd probably run it with a similar body to the one you used in this video, it looks awesome! Excellent video as always!

Got the chance to run mine for the first the other day lowered the ride at the front more than the rear it just felt so planted, though I may have too much power with the brushless motor I put in didn't get to fully open the taps but it's like a bullet (painting up a "nice' body after a couple of bumps)

You are absolutely right! I live in the same city as you and trying to find a large flat surface that is not all cracked or strewn with gravel is next to impossible. I don't think we even have any RC tracks in our area let alone any opportunities for rock crawling...not that I am bitter! 😜

It is very quick! Maybe over geared a bit it’s lovely and quiet I assume you haven’t changed the spur gear for the 0.4 pitch… Your drive has improved so much over the last year no more pumping the throttle, you’re looking very professional!

Very Very Nice Glenn, Handles well and i can see theres lots and lots of potential in this kit- Super quite and so so smooth yeah 10/10, so chuffed i have one on the build list and that setup you have as in motor and box stock setup is pretty good straight off the bat, once you tweak it up a little this thing will definitely rip nicely around the track and now i can see how there is possibilities for doing well in touring car racing , cheers and thanks for the enjoyable Video.

Great fun! Nothing like a great handling touring car on a nice flat parking lot. The TC01 is a great and affordable chassis. Tamiya did a great job with its design. Hoping the TD4 and TD2 will follow suite.

Funny I almost bought this chassis as my first hobby RC kit. Really amazing to be honest. Nothing against the TT-02 but you honestly can’t compare this chassis against it. It’s just *that much* better. Hopefully we get to see more hop-ups made for them.

Yeah it certainly is, it’s completely unique and we might not see it again 🤔🤷🏼♂️ I actually think this would be a great speed run platform with one of those ultra low touring car shells or indeed a Le Mans shell 🤔

Hi Glen, you should get a set of Tamiya super slick tyres for your testing, they stick to the road like cow 🐮 shit to a blanket, lol 😂, they really do, and they grip just as well in the wet as in the dry. Awesome rc that is, and it’s really quiet 🤫, as you said. Niiiiiiiiiiice video. 😎👍👍👍🇬🇧

My question to you is… how is it when I put 2s on a brushed motor it stops after 2 minutes with overheating? Cools down and off it goes again for 2 mins. Tamiya TBLE2 with an RZ motor. Thank you

That’s because that set up is right on that speedo’s limit, the esc is going into limp mode due to the built in thermal cut out when it gets too hot. The hop up Tamiya fan should hopefully cure this 🤷🏼♂️. I’ve used this set up a lot with the fan and never had an issue Tim 👊🏻
