I appreciate you sharing your knowledge. Save my trial and error. So many videos show how 'hop ups' only should be all that's achievable to improve performance. I've gotten more out of this video than 100 others. Thanks heaps mate

Thanks for sharing your setups. I just restarted a couple of years ago after 35 years and everything is brand new to me, we didn't have all these options at the time. You say in this video that you put some super glue on the ball and teflon. But can you please explain where exactly? I don't understand. Thank you.
@rccartips4 ай бұрын
It's kinda hard to explain, but I have older videos on how to remove slop. In areas where you have slop try to slightly increase the diameter of parts with a very very light coat of superglue or wrap with plumbing teflon tape (e.g. ballcups).

Wonderful to see the 1/12 suddenly show up. Yes, I think they are great: complaints these days (lst 20 years) about costs of RC but as you said, if it's pure racing and driving the cheap 1/12th does everything.

Can you expand on the teflon tape idea. Did you infill the area behind the tape - the central driveshaft area. I wondered about using expanding foam or glue and then sanding it flat.
@rccartips Жыл бұрын
The teflon tape I wrap around the ends of the suspension arm.

@@rccartips Yes I noticed that, but what about around MIn 2 what tape is that then?

I guess you are right on tt01 vs tt02, recent tt02 plastic tend to be brittle, older day tt01 plastic tend to soften, but sadly I disposed my tt01 already. I still have M05, can I do similar? putting a 5.5T motor on it?

You can but you might shred the front tires :D

I have question on motor, are you using 5.5T sensor or no sensor? Also didn't see you set your esc using the setting card often? Please talk about motor and esc, thanks.

Sensored. The esc is Hobbywing QUICRUN 10BL120 set to medium power punch and no timing.

Similar to my set up. I use yeah racing big bore oil shocks which I noticed were significantly superior to others I've used. I have also smoothed the bottom and added foam like yours. 10BL120 with 10.5t quicrun g2 gets it moving nicely. My servo is a 32kg omg which is overkill but works so well
