Tamiya TT02 Upgrades - 27T Pinion Hop Up

Installing the 27t pinion in my TT02 speed run car to see if we can increase the speed from 25mph.

The bits of plastic are the cooling fan inside the motor, loosing bits wont help with the balance. Motor upgrade.

I'm sure I'm preaching to the choir, but a good speed upgrade for Tamiya's now is to run the stock motor on 3s. Tamiya moving to Hobbywing ESC's was the best thing they've done in ages.

The motor may be performing, but it's definitely not cooling anymore You need a lower turn motor (assuming you're staying brushed) that will give you more rpm. If you still aren't increasing in mph, try a lower tooth pinion 👍
