I was so fortunate to see Tammy Wynette in concert in Redbay Alabama . If she couldn't get your emotions going 😢she was and always will be my favorite country female singer . She always wanted to leave her daughters something when she passed away. But life is so cruel sometimes and they were cheated out of their inherentence. Tammy Wynette grew up in Tremont Mississippi only 20 miles away. She makes Mississippi and Alabama proud ❤😊

Tammy rescued me - When I was 17 yrs, I was hitch hiking out of Florida, injured and sewed up with a big leg cast, still in my honorable uniform. I made it to Tennessee or Kentucky on Interstate-75, when there was a detour where I got dropped off from hitch hiking. I looked so bad, bleeding where some of the stitches had opened up. I wasn't getting another ride and I was in bad shape; just then, a brand new Lincoln Town car, yellow, with a white coup top pulled up, window down and Tammy had me get in and take me as far as she was going, an hour together. This is a very long testament, and I can remember our hearts beating, I was 17 and she was about 35 yrs. It was a very wonderful conversation and when she let me out, and I walked and hitch hiked further, I remember, thanking GOD for Tammy, and spending the wonderful time. I knew right then GOD still love me, amen I think Tammy could be driving down a state highway and recognized a trust worthy person and help them anyway she could. Good folks sharing the same great moment.

I fell in love with Tammy Wynette back in 1977 at the Allegan County Fair in Michigan. She had these Tight Fittin Jeans boots that came up to her knees and this little denim vest in her hair was spectacular. I was standing in the front row with another Gentleman on the other side she looked at both of us and she said could you please help me out the stage as she sang her signature song Stand By Your Man she walked right down the middle aisle with both of us hand in hand and for a 14-year-old boy let me tell you😅 words cannot describe or explain how I fell in love with her. The last time I got to see her was in 1998 in the month of May Holland Michigan at the Tulip Festival. I don't know what kind of sickness she had but she looked horrible I simply started crying because she did not look like Tammy Wynette. Then in April turn on the TV to hear of her passing I was devastated😢
