Thank you so much! I thought I had to add Floetrol to all my paint. I also have started to go to Menards and ask them for paint that people had colored and did not like. I got some pretty good deals that way. You just need to be careful that they are not half empty cans of paint.

Love your swipes and how you did different areas each time. All the cells were so fascinating, as they were different 💖💕💖 I stayed for your personal way you mix your products together. Very informative, loved how each product was shown and your pouring into the cups, how much you used. Also the mix of floretral you used and paint. How to know if you have a proper pour, by the way the paint came off your stick, wether to add a bit of water. Thank you so much Tammy, this was greatly appreciated 🥰💖💕☘️☘️

Even though I’ve watched your basics videos, some how I missed that the paints need to be the same consistency as the base coat and also the CA needs to be the same. I thought it was just just the colors. Duh!! Now I know. Thanks for the tutorial. ❤

I love this video! Well, I love all your videos! I have found you since the first day I looked up “acrylic paint pouring“ on KZbin. You are such a good instructor. I get so much from your videos, and even though I’ve been doing paint pouring ,for five years now, I can always find a new bit of information in your videos.Wanna hear you talk about the beauty of what’s left on the worksurface and even on your paint spreader, I had to laugh. As I have known to keep some of my popsicle sticks that had drips of paint on them. It’s amazing what you can find beauty!

I am enthralled with this beautiful pour. I am curious, though, about your swiping tool. I’ve never seen it before. What tool would be used instead? It appears you use it flat and not at an angle. You are so good at understanding this medium and I’m delighted to learn from your videos! 7:17

I am very new to pouring and am in love with it! Thank you for your videos I have enjoyed and learned from several of them. Mostly your videos that include a great explanation of mixing which seems to be the absolute key to pouring. We all have it in us to be very creative!!! I am very curious about cracking. I am not sure I understand what happens when you describe cracking. Would you have an example of cracking? I have some questions about most of my creations so far and am wondering if I am experiencing this.

Hi Tammy, I'm a bit confused. When making your pouring medium, you initially said you could mix 3/4 untinted base to 1/4 JoSonja. Then you said to be more exact, you would mix 1 cup untinted base to 0.25 cup JoSonja. The first example is a 3:1 ratio of untinted base:JoSonja, but the second is a 4:1 ratio of base:JoSonja. The second would have a different consistency from the first. Is this really what you meant?
@lesleyhenshaw2878 Жыл бұрын
I can’t get Jo Sonja in the uk, is there an alternative that would work similarly x

Thank you for this video. I was told that opaque paints work the best for CA, is that true? I have quite a few golden paints that are either semi transparent or transparent, I don't want to waste my liquid gold trying them out.

@lisavaliton1786 Жыл бұрын
Tammy, for your pouring medium you said you fill your container up 3/4 of the way with the base see (or base three) and then you finish filling up your container with a Joe Sonia varnish. But then you said for everyone cup of the base three you put 1/4 of a cup of the varnish. Those are two different recipes. The first recipe it’s three parts bass three and one part varnish (3/4+1/4 = 3:1), and the second recipe you gave was a 4:1 varnish to base 3...(Sorry, I’m a math teacher, so I just had to point this out LOL) so are you saying, that this is a flexible recipe as well? Would it vary depending on the technique?
@lesleyhenshaw2878 Жыл бұрын
Would the be a alternative for the semi gloss base paint also please
@valeriecraig7571 Жыл бұрын
Beautiful! Is cell activator just a thinner version of your paint mixed with pouring medium?
@emilyflotilla931 Жыл бұрын
It's usually Australian Floetrol and Amsterdam paint, 3 to 1. But some can get results with American Floetrol and some water-based polyurethane, like Min-wax. The Australian Floetrol is used basically only in the Bloom method. Australian Floetrol is very expensive, so I only use it for them. Molly is doing great swipes with it, but she's a big time experienced artist. If you're new, American Foetrol is great for everything .
