Magic! I love watching the cells appear instantly when torched!! To those that get frustrated because this or that technique is not working. It is really all about practice practice practice and to not be afraid to experiment. You have to remember also that these KZbin artist have done these techniques hundreds of times. They once were where you are too. So never beat yourself up and never talk down about yourself or your art. Just hang in there and make Your art!! You got this!! And Tammy is a fantastic teacher with tons of videos that will answer any questions you may have!! Happy Painting 🖼

What I love most, aside from you, is your giggle 😍 it's like a therapeutic sound. You are so amazing at what you do, and you create a learning retreat experience in every video. The personal touches you give in-person are priceless! 🤗😘

While there are so many cool techniques in fluid art, it was paintings done with silicone that first attracted me to pour painting. The absolute weirdness of the crazy cells and explosion of colors are not achieved with anything else. I really liked the way you selectively used the torch for your cells, too!

I would love to see you do a pour using just the pouring medium with no silicone. I'd have a better understanding of what the Artist Loft Pouring Medium can do unassisted. I love that you like to teach, and know how to do it well!

WOW, those cells and lacing are crazy! I cannot wait to see this when it is dry. Also, I have watched your Back to Basics Videos over and over. They are EXCELLENT and so helpful. I have taken notes from different videos and referred to them. I cannot say enough about the consistency chart too. What an amazing tool for obtaining the correct paint consistency!!!! Have a wonderful week Tammy🥰

The good thing about the consistency chart is that anyone can do a drip test. BUT with the circles, it ensures that the paint drops are the same size, and shows that (for example) five consistent drips an inch down are too thick for a lot of pours. It's a consistent gauge! Personally, I like the starting base you gave today. I like to know the beginning of a recipe (like today where you began with 1:1 with this particular medium). I'm always afraid of adding too much water and go over that water threshold. A drop of medium isn't enough binder, and double the medium isn't cost-effective. I love your infectious excitement when you pull out your pink torch! They're such happy beings, colors... Have a wonderful week! I'm waiting with bated breath for my Wynn Modern Art order :) Your new logo is gorgeous. Have a wonderful week! Much love and thanks.

This was GREAT!!!! Since you didn't tilt the paint off, to thin it on the canvas, how will you keep it from cracking?
@tammyandersonart Жыл бұрын
Ty girlfriend ❤❤ so because I had just enough paint in those cups it ends up being just the right amount of paint when it spreads out however if those had been Bloom paints where they were really really thick, it indeed would have cracked. ❤love you lady❤

Tammy how do you think this compares to the Masters Touch that you experimented with recently? It’s probably less expensive unless you buy on their 40% off week.

I thought you were going to say “you need a blow dryer powerful enough to blow your wig off” instead of what you said (consistency part of the video). 😀 Thanks Tammy for all of the info!

Where do you get your pouring medium at? I've looked around but it's $35 per half-gallon. I can get a gallon of floetrol for less than that so I was just curious as to where you got yours from.

Is it the oil or pouring medium that causes those cells?
@seasidekreations-australia Жыл бұрын
Sucks that I can't try that pouring medium, as far as I have found we can't get it here in Australia and shipping is rediculous from the US

Confusing is right. I'm confused big time right now. I just watched your video where you used Masters Touch PM and you said you loved the way it worked, Now in this video you're using Artist Lost PM and you said it was your favorite. I am so lost with this PM stuff. After watching the Masters Touch video, I went and ordered 2 bottles of it, cause it was on sale. I just got it today, so I haven't tried it yet. By what I saw, you don't need silicon, and you'll still get tons of cells, which is fine by me, cause I don't use silicone, or any other kind of oils in my paints. What I'm wondering now is, will you get the same effects with the Artist Lost PM without silicone? I'm totally confused. 🤔

Are you in the US? I just looked on michaels.com. And it's $35 for the big gallon of it.
