I love the double amount of red and there being less negative space. When we criticise our own art, we should also recognise that our negative criticisms are somebody else's positive criticisms, and that to some people it is just what they are looking for. It's gorgeous!

Colorado would be wonderful! I loved taking your class. Did not love Naples! My body really doesn't like humidity. My paintings were not dry enough to fly home with. I left them for the Housekeeper of my hotel room. Put a note on the box saying I hope she likes abstract art but if she didn't maybe she knows someone who does and can regift them. Our paintings would dry a lot faster in "dry" Colorado.

I know you just came back from Dallas, but next year, you should really consider San Antonio! The weather is much more mild in the winter-- normally, we get a couple of rainy days about 42 degrees, then 2-3 weeks of sunny and 65 degrees, repeat until March. Plus, it's a great, friendly tourist town with fun things to do, and easy to get get around in. And terrific Tex-Mex food and culture!

I like less white space! It's very beautiful! I've had Drew Barimores hair dryer before I did dutch pours. I'm hoping to get good at it like you and Kanella. I've never successfully done a dutch pour but I'm not giving up. Thanks for these instructions that I can use for the next try.😁

I’m a beginner and I tilt the canvas to coat it with paint. Honestly it doesn’t waste that much paint at all, just a few drips which is expected but at least the canvas is flooded equally.
