I dont know if anyone will use this, but i prefer written patterns, so this is here for anyone interested (mark the first stitch of each round, and slst and ch 1 between each round): SMALL PETALS - make 3: Row 1: 6 sc in a magic ring (6) Row 2: inc in each stitch (12) Row 3: *sc, inc* repeat around (18) Row 4: *sc, inc, sc* repeat around (24) Row 5: *3 sc, inc) repeat around (30) Row 6: *2sc, inc, 2 sc) repeat around (36) Row 7: 5 sc, inc, (2sc(sc, ch 2, sc)) 7 times, 9 sc (time stamp for anyone confused- 6:02) Cut yarn and weave in ends MEDIUM PETALS - make 3: Row 1 through to Row 6 is the same as the small petal, so refer to those Row 7: *5 sc, inc* repeat around (42) Row 8: 6sc, inc, 3sc, (sc, ch 2, sc) (2sc,(sc, ch2, sc) repeat 6 times, 13 sc (timestamp for row - 12:17) Cut yarn and weave in ends LARGE PETALS - make 3: Rows 1 to 7 are the same as the medium petals, so refer to those Row 8: *3sc, inc, 3sc* repeat around (48) Row 9: 7sc, inc, 4sc, (sc, ch 2, sc) (2sc, (sc, ch 2, sc)) repeat 7 times, 14sc (timestamp- 18:39) Cut yarn and weave in ends Flower torus (green) - make 1: Row 1: 10sc in a magic ring (10) Row 2: inc around (20) Row 3-4: 20 sc (20) - slst to first stitch Row 5: chain 10, slst into 2nd chain from hook, sc, 3hdc, 3dc, 1tr, skip 3 stitches (on the torus base) and slst into the 4th stitch (timestamp - 25:36) Repeat this 5 times in total to build the 'star' shape of the torus Cut yarn BIG LEAF - make 30cm 0.7mm stem wire (i used pipe cleaners that I cut to size) Fold wire in half Make a slip knot, chain 13 (this is a bit hard to explain so here is the timestamp - 32:10) Row 1: In the second ch from the hook, begin a single crochet. with 2 loops on hook, lay the wire against your work and finish the sc (this way you will begin crocheting around the wire) sc, hdc, dc, tr, 2 tr (this means inc), tr, 2tr, tr, dc, hdc, sc, 3sc into last ch (this will act as the tip of the leaf) At this point you should push the yarn to the middle fold of the wire, and continue working over it along the other wide of the ch 13 sc, hdc, dc, tr, 2tr, tr, 2tr, tr, dc, hdc, sc, slst into the first stitch on the other side to connect the leaf ch 1, sc on the same st Row 2: *ch2, sc* repeat until the middle of the 3 sc, make a picot stitch (39:55), *sc, ch 2* until bottom slst to connect, ch 1 Cut yarn and leave a long tail to wrap around the rest of the wire SMALL LEAF - make 20cm 0.6mm stem wire (again, i used pipe cleaners) Fold wire in half Ch 10 Row 1: Start a sc but do not finish, lay wire against the back of your project and finish the sc (you should be working over the wire, just like in the big leaf), sc, hdc, dc, 2tr, tr, 2tr, dc, hdc, make 3sc in the last ch Here you will be at the centre fold of the wire Working into the other side of the ch 10) hdc, dc, 2tr (this is tr inc), tr, 2tr, dc, hdc, sc slst into first st, ch1 Row 2: *ch 2, sc* repeat to centre tr (between the 2 tr inc), picot st, *sc, ch 2* repeat to last st slst into first stitch, ch 1 Cut yarn, leaving a long tail, and wrap the remaining wire in this yarn ASSEMBLY (49:10) : 35cm long 20mm stem wire (i used a skewer, but a chopstick or pipecleaner could also work in place of the wire) (also, I would recommend stitching the flower together, as the glue may not always hold well) push the wire through the centre of a small petal, roll the petal and hot glue. Glue the next two small petals around the first one. Glue the large petals on in the same way Push the wire throught the centre of the torus and glue it so that it wraps the base of the rose Attach the leaves by wrapping the stems of the leaves and the rose in yarn, and wrap until the bottom of the flower stem, and glue secure. You can make a bouquet from this, as shown in the video.

TO ANYONE WITHOUT A HOT GLUE GUN OR STEM WIRE… I used pipe cleaners cut to size for the leaves, a chopstick for the stem, and I sewed the petals together using about 2-4 stitches each petal… Even with my lack of materials and improvisations, pattern worked out very well! Thank you!
@azure.bell72034 ай бұрын
Seriously, sewing them cause I don't have a hot glue gun was really helpful 💙
@gretchenmariehoron70704 ай бұрын
@@azure.bell7203 sewing is better anyways, the glue eventually dries out and stuff falls apart, sewing it ensures that won’t happen…

I just lost my aunt to gallbladder cancer a week ago, and the funeral just ended. One of her sons said that if anyone wanted to send him and his family roses(her favorite color) to his house, they were free to. I decided to put a little twist on it, though. Instead of giving them all flowers that will eventually wilt and die, I’m going to crochet them for an everlasting effect. I haven’t started them yet, as I have to wait until I get home for the proper yarn, but I 100% will. Thank you for this tutorial, I can’t wait to start them 💜💜💜

My experience in using hot glue on creations like this it isn't a long-term solution. I would suggest instead to stich as you go...at least this way it will stay more together for the long run.

It would have been beneficial to have the measurements of the pedals and the hook size and the yarn before the tutorial. I used 4ply cotton yarn with a 4.5mm hook and after doing all my pedals I realized that they were too big. Im going to have to undo them so they can be smaller. Otherwise, great tutorial. Thanks!
@liina838 ай бұрын
You can choose the yarn and crochet hook that suits you. If you take a bigger crochet hook, it will be bigger, if you take a smaller one, it will be smaller. The crochet hook and yarn must match.

@tammycrochetart2710 Жыл бұрын
(2sc, 2sc in the same stitch, 2sc) repeat 6 times
@Lilswamphag Жыл бұрын
More broken down (2sc, inc, 2sc)*6 2 single crochet stitches followed by an increase (which is simply 2 single crochet stitches into the same stitch) followed by 2 more single crochet stitches. The *6 means you repeat the pattern 6 times in the row.

8 th round of medium petal is confusing. 7 th row's total is 42. How to we get last 13 sc? But small petal 's 7 th row 's calculation is correct. I think....... In 8 th row 5sc, 1 inc (2 sc), 2sc total = 8 . last13 sc + 8 = 21.Balance 21 is divided by 7 = 21.Now only yr calculation is correct. Am I right?
