Love Funnel 2. Always had to drill home not immediately attacking the flat when #3 comes out of the backfield. V-Out / Seam / Flat will bite you in the butt if the corner doesn't drop vs an initial hard inside release by #1. (Dropping 7)

how are you teaching your corners to be effective force defenders in a cover 2 look with how spread out so many teams are now?

Coach in your Tampa 2, are your half players able to play more to the outside than in traditional 2 since there is more of a presence in the middle of the field? If so, are you then able to handle Smash concept better in Tampa 2 than traditional 2?

We drop 8 with our Tampa stuff so yes the safeties can play a little wider. Essentially becomes more 3 deep in theory for us.
