Can you walk from the cell phone parking lot to the first floor/tram area to pick up an arriving passenger?

You can but it's a bit of a walk. There is a pick up area at the street level across the street from the building that houses the car rental area which is closer. A passenger can take the tram from the "main airport terminal" to the rental car station and then follow the signs for local transportation/pickup. There is a covered/enclosed walkway over the road to the other side where there are a series of escalators that take you down to the street level where you can do a passenger pick up. Unless you are on level 1, you have to take the elevator down to level 1 and then take a second elevator up to the monorail/train. So I don't think it makes that much of a difference in terms of the level but I do believe that gold is closer to the elevator that you have to take up to the train. You have to take the elevator to the ground level (if you’re not already there) and go to another elevator that takes you up to the tram/shuttle. There is a moving sidewalk on the ground level that takes you towards this elevator. Hope this helps & thanks for watching!

I just checked the airport website and the cost has risen to $18 per 24 hour period. It is, however, cheaper to pre-pay online.

At the time (2019) it was $10 a day but I see that it is now $12 a day. I did use my sunpass also. Thanks for watching!

Was it hard finding parking?

Depending on the time of day and day of the week, it can be difficult to find parking on certain levels. I got there pretty early (before 6am) on a Thursday and there were plenty of spots on the ground level but it took me a little longer (maybe 5 minutes) to find a spot on a Friday night (when I originally made this video - I think I was on level 2).
