Watching this back, It's mindblowing how people really tried to paint a narrative that Mac Jones "outplayed" Tom Brady in any way lol Mac Jones looked good for what he was doing as a rookie 100% But Brady had a 50 yard bomb that got called back, bad drops by his receivers, and a nearly a walk off TD by AB that was dropped. wow

This game was very exciting tom had to use every ounce of his brain when he finally got a chance in the end no matter what time Brady is the greatest ever until someone in the next 20 years changes what he has done but I truly doubt it will never happen 7 Superbowls all time passing yards leader passing drew Brees over 80,000 well over we love you Tom enjoy your retirement.

Nobody can "change" what he has done, they can only surpass him. But it's unlikely this will ever happen, in our lifetime anyway. The new trend in the NFL is rushing QB's which will shorten their careers because of the punishing tackles they'll take.

Half Back- lines up behind Quarterback and Running back, ball can be passed to them or handed off Full Back- lines up behind Quarterback and running back, but in front of the half Back, same rules as half Back and Running back. Receivers- get the ball from a pass from the Quarterback Center- snaps ball Back to Quarterback Left and Right Guard- the 2 linemen next to the center that blocks the defense from getting a sack (of tackling the Quarterback to force them to lose yards) Left and Right Tackle- also blocks the defense from getting a sack Tight End- Mix between a lineman and Receiver, depending on the play, is usually big and runs usually short routes --------------------------------- Defense --------------------------------- Defensive Tackles- usually the 3 people going against the offensive lineman, try to sack the Quarterback Defensive Ends- lined up with the DTs (defensive tackle) at the end, push against the O-lineman (offensive lineman) Linebackers- behind the D-lineman (Defensive Lineman) to chase receivers to tackle them or get interceptions (when the opposing defense gets in the middle of a throw and catches it) Cornerback- line up with the D-line farther out to block receivers Safety- lined up behind the D-line and Linebacker, to usually block deep throws and to tackle receivers --------------------------------- Special Teams --------------------------------- Kicker- gets field goals or kicks the ball at kickoff (after a team gets a score) Punter- if the offense does not get 10 yards, on the 4th down they have an option to punt the ball to make sure the ball isn't by the end zone for the other team once it's turned over Punt and Kick returners- returns the ball after a punt or kick --------------------------------- Football Slang --------------------------------- Interception- when the ball is taken by the defense when they get in the middle of a throw. Also known as being "picked off" or "turned over" Fumble- when the ball is dropped by the receiver by force. Can be taken by the opposing team to turnover the ball. Incompletion- when the ball that was thrown by the Quarterback gets to nobody. 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th down- chances to gain 10 yards on a drive or it is turned over to the opposing team. Field Goal-if the offense is in the red zone, they have the option to kick a field goal for 3 points. End zone- place you have to get the football to get a touchdown. I explained this as best as I can, just let me know if you need help on anything else.
