can you tell us if the refineries sometimes keep the foreign gold in its coin shape to sell again or if most everything that lands at the refinery is melted down and refined into .999 bars. i understand about the need to keep the turnover to keep making a modest profit daily but it really seems a darn shame to melt nice coins.

If foreign gold is so popular, you should gather a list of phone numbers of "definite" buyers. When you get the foreign gold in, send them a text and give them 1 hour to make a purchase.
