I was at the game too! You actually showed us in the video lol. We were in 136 in the first row. Just above the covered seats where the buffet seats are. Phillips threw me a ball which made me super happy because he’s one of my favorite players. It was definitely an awesome game.

Loved the enthusiasm and enjoyed this one, too, Adam; was odd how the bullpens are right out along the baselines. I had never seen the chicken tender/fry cups made that way, interesting concept but I always find it tough to keep up with stuff like that at the games. The Nats gave away beverage steins at a game in 2019 and those were a huge challenge to keep up with for nine innings - there were six of us, and each got one. Great stuff, as always.

I believe the bullpens are just wedged down the baselines because Tropicana Field wasn't designed for baseball. It is a multi purpose venue, which used to be more common. Why they haven't renovated and gotten real bullpens? I don't know.

The whole place needs to be bulldozed. That “bullpen” is a hazard especially when going for a pop fly, uneven ground. Team doesn’t want to pay for a new stadium and town doesn’t want to pay either. They deserve a better stadium in a better location. Any stadium that has to have special rules to play the game should be eliminated but that’s just me

Adam, you were there 8/22, which was the 135th anniversary of William Van Winkle “Chicken” Wolf's walk off, inside the park HR. On 8/22/1886 that Cincinnati Reds outfielder Abner Powell was unable to retrieve and throw a ball home to retire Chicken Wolf. This was due to a stray dog that had wandered out onto the field and began chasing and biting Powell's leg. Apparently, the dog had been sleeping by the outfield fence.

It was great to a lot of the fans there at the game. Smart idea Chicken and Batter came up with the straw used for a duel purpose for food and drink making it easier to handle at the game. This is great. Lived in Tampa from 2004 (go Carl Crawford!) to 2007 (go Evan Longoria!).... Watched all the games on local cable when I resided there...(Largo then Tampa).... Just before we moved, i took my 6-year old daughter to a game....such fun!!! 3 observations... 1. Rachel got a free glove....gotta love those give-aways! (Have no idea where it is now...ha)... 2. We were playing the Marlins... Got a photo of Rachel with both the Marlin and Raymond mascots....♥️♥️♥️ 3. We had excellent seats (easy to do with a bad team...lol)....on the 1st baseline.... Final conclusions... 1. Tropicana is a great place for baseball... great facilities for fans...so nice to be in 72° when it's roasting humid outside 2. They gotta do something about the craptastic bullpen situation...i honestly have fear for the bullpen catchers...

Yes. Yankee stadium does, but we get nice souvenir cups not just a bottle. It’s not cheap but at least you get a cup and the stand to take home for popcorn later!

Pelican, not a chicken. Pete the Pelican is the mascot of the Tampa Bay Rowdies, a soccer team owned by the Rays ownership. Rowdies play at Al Lang Stadium on the waterfront in downtown St. Petersburg-formerly a spring training and minor league ballpark. Tampa Bay Rowdies were the first pro sports team to represent the Tampa Bay Area in 1975.
