Well I did a Hard Reset, Nope. Then a Menu Reset (got 8 "OPC: leaves), No "SHARP" or "K" button, just snow and some hard to see snow where the grey patch is. :-( I'd try the third method but I don't have the arms for it. ;-) A note just flashed in the lower left corner (to fast to read) and the TV turned off, I'll wait a few minutes to see if it automatically turns back on or I'll turn it on? I tried the "Input" trick and now have a blank, black (no snow) screen and no hdmi channels? Well, audio is working, still black screen. Embarrassing, I forgot the HDMI cable, still have grey.

My sound wouldnt work so I put the TV in storage for a couple years because we didn't have a remote to get into the settings and reset it that way.. I held down the volume and input and it works again. You're the man.

I couldn't quite figure it out for quite a few tries, but finally I got the K, entered the service menu, went through all 26 (in my case) pages twice, and turned the TV off. Turned it back on and it worked! Thank you so much!

Have an old Sharp LC-19SB15J Your tip on pressing Input & Vol- then plugging it Finally turned it ON, get this I reset it needed but it won't turn on without doing your tip so it stays on i guess its working... But wasted hours on other internet tips pressing different combinations of Volume & Channel buttons, not 1 mentioned the Input button. Thank you so much & God Bless you! (David G. I have a SHARP AQUOS QUATTRON LC-52LE925UN and a SHARP HT-SB 600 Sound Bar unit and subwoofer. I use a satellite TV setbox. Everything is connected to the rear of the HT-SB 600 panel. The HDMI out goes to my HDMI ARC input of the TV. Problem is that I cannot control the volume anymore fom my Satellite box remote control as before. Sound is off too (Lip-synch) .. Please advise/help I have a sharp tv (32BC5K) and while doing a software update, it failed at 3% and has only showed a blue screen with text saying "an upgrade failed" with the power indicator flashing red and white. It won't let me do anything including turning it off. Do you happen to know how to reset Sharp Aquos 55EQ3EA? This model has only one small "joystick" that should also work as a button. My TV is in loop reboot mode after a Sharp issued update and I can't find a way to reset it: TV turns on, Sharp red logo for a few seconds, Google logo animation comes up next then after some time it reboots. Bought an LG tv from hotel. Plugged hdmi cable into bell fibe receiver and back of tv-only white snow. Used an lg remote to confirm that input source locks are all off. Only way to use tv is with lg remote, have to change input to HDMI each time then go ahead and use bell remote. I don’t want to use 2 remotes. I only want to use Belk remote. Please help.

Hi, I have the SHARP AQUOS LC-70LE640U, I need to know if this TV has mirroring capabilities of its own? Without using the Chromcast? Even using the Chromcast Ultra I still can't mirror my phone with the TV. It will make the initial connection and the little gray bar shows the initial page and says " connecting " and it doesn't go away. I try to move away from that page but the TV stays frozen with the screen showing the connection. I can connect with the Chromcast to KZbin but that's all. I'd appreciate any help...

I have a Sharp LC-52D85UN that won't power on. The power and OPC lights blink 2 times together and then the OPC light flashes 3 times. I pushed the volume up and channel down buttons while plugging in the power and the backlight came on, but I can't get the TV to display anything with the remote. I can power it off and on with the remote and the power button. If I hit the Menu button on either the screen seems to get a bit brighter and the reverse when pressed again. I tried the Input and Volume Down sequence to no avail. Any other ideas as to what could be wrong? It doesn't seem to be the power board, since the backlight came on. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Is using the service menu even more of a reset than the factory reset built into the menu? I have the LC-55P6050U and just after 2 years the audio suddenly went out on the speakers. The headphone jack works, picture, inputs, apps all work But without sound on any of them through the built in speakers only the headphone jack. Would this also be the main logic board?

I guess my TV is a goner, I woke up and it had no picture but it had sound, I tried holding down channel and and input and held them down while plugging it in and waited with it held down and I lost sound. I installed a new video card in my PC and the result what that I would need to unplug the HDMI cable each time I went from TV to PC. As part of trying to fix this, I reset my older Sharp Aquos TV (Sharp Aquos LC52D64U 52-Inch 1080p LCD HDTV) using the on screen menu system. Now, no matter what I do, it won't scale properly and text looks fuzzy. It seems to be overscanning. Any idea how to fix this?

As often happens, I figured out how to fix the problem myself. The TV had reset to default view; I needed to reset it to dot-by-dot and everything was OK. I hope this helps someone who might have a similar issue.

There was a strong power surge and my Sharp LC70LE734U went dark. The main board and power supply board have been replaced. The white V at center bottom comes on but will blink 1X then blink 3X quickly and this just repeats itself. What now?

Hello can you help me with this.. i have this aquos lc-40le360d3 model, but the remote is not working anymore. I can still navigate the channels using at the back buttons. The usb still works but the problem is when i open the usb, i cant do anything (ex. choose what to play from the usb.) The back buttons can navigate like choose left to right the files in the usb, but i cant play what i choose using those buttons! 😭😭 is there a solution for this?

Try reset, unplug tv power for 1 minute. Next try replacing batteries in remote and check for dirty battery connections in the remote, if you take your phone camera and face it towards the remote then press a button on the TV remote you should see the IR sensor blink on your phone if remote works. You could have a loose connection on the TV ir board or bad main board. Get tv boards at shopjimmy.com or electropartsonline.com * let us know how you fixed the TV.

Dont know if you have a solution...but I have a sharp lc37db5u, 05' model I think, and the hdmi port is being weird. It displays my Amazon fire tv. My ps4 won't display at all and my snes classic only has video, no sound. However before I got fire tv the snes classic worked fine. Any correlation between the two or has something else just randomly gone wrong?

A few questions, If my TV is hardwired to the modem/router, do I still need to update using a USB? We don't have a physical remote and the app doesn't appear to have any functionality, even after setting up the port. We are having problems navigating the menus using the buttons on the TV. We lost the ability to select the options, the volume/channel buttons cycle multiple times in one touch. The volume stops working and it won't turn off unless we unplug it.
