To begin, I find the glasses to be a bit obnoxious, sadly, in many of these mega churches, there’s a spirit of self righteousness and because he/she was “chosen” by God to minister, they’ve taken on this god-like attitude. Many of them are mean spirited, say very hurtful things to their parishioners and expect to be respected, I find this behavior Abhorrent and unacceptable. I’m disappointed that there’s no apology, acknowledgement or accountability. Be mindful, there’s a lot of “spiritual narcissists”, stay clear, and form your own, personal relationship with God. The Bible talks about the importance of a humble spirit and ‘a haughty spirit before a downfall.’☮️

Tamron I must bow to you. I know this was a very hard interview with Kim Burrell. Watching from home you could feel the tension in the room and the stone wall Kim Burrell had up between you and the audience. Tamron you showed Kim Burrell nothing but grace and love. Kim Burrell was cold and she showed the world her true colors and cold heart. Instead of apologizing she played the victim role and tried to justify her disgusting actions. Tamron I am a PK kid (pastor's Kid) my father was a COGIC pastor and preacher. COGIC is the same denomination Kim Burrell follows. Proverbs 18: 21 " The tongue has the power of life and death ". Kim Burrell spoke of this "Church LINGO" that anyone who is not a part of the church would not understand or will take what she said out of context. That is straight-up BULL CRAP!! Matthew 12:34 " Out of his heart a man speaks ". Kim Burrell, I say to you, "Be careful with your words you either speak life or death. I knew Kim when she was starting out and managed a stage at a festival in NOLA. I would present gospel groups on Sunday's opening act. Kim and her group were invited to perform one of those Sundays. Nobody knew who she was but when she treated me like a servant the entire time backstage, WhoTF are YOU, Lil Girl? Needless to say, she got none of the kindness that I give to artists on my stages. Her brother's no better but we'll leave it at that. He now works for her as manager. They deserve no better.

My first question as a Christian to anyone isn't "What have you done?" My first question is "Are you okay? Are you hungry? Are you naked? Do you need a ride?..." We believe so much in our own righteousness and that is socially and spiritually dangerous.

I am sorry but Kim.has a history of demeaning parishioners. She does it with the gays and especially with those that are less economically successful as Kim. First of all, Kim was paid to sing not hustle offensive jokes. I would give Kim a break if this was an isolated incident. However Kim is in the news more for her offensive behavior than her magnificence vocal gift. Burrell is a representative of why people are leaving church quicker than Israel left Egypt.
