Tamron you don't know how you're blessing the world with these testimonies. As a 35 year old single woman living in Africa, there are days I feel all the odds are against me but I just can't take less. I am also very grateful for my family especially the men in my family. To have indigenous Africa male figures who rather encourage and pray for you instead of questioning you. I know God will make it happen in his right time and they will be alive to celebrate. Thanks Tamron, thanks Rachelle 😊 🙏

I'm 42 almost 43 and I want to be mother have always wanted to time just flew by. I went into perimenopause at 37 so having my own biological child wasn't a option anymore it was devastating and so hurtful. I think adoption is wonderful God chooses different paths for us to become parents we might not like or understand it at first but just have to trust the process.

This journalist is absolutely beautiful. She is out of most mens league. Being a single successful beautiful woman is the epitome of living life. Sometimes a man just doesn’t measure up or fit into the peace you’ve to built for yourself. Women should be proud of their lives regardless of marital status. Many women are married but can’t really claim to have husbands or be wives. Many men are married but not truly fulfilling the role of husband. Just saying. For the few who are married to their equal in terms of values, education level, class and physical attractiveness… these are marriage goals. It is better to be single than settle for anything less.

“Many men are married but not truly fulfilling the role of husband” - Wow, you hit it on the nail with that statement! That could apply for both men and women which is why half of marriages are ending up in divorce! I agree 100% about not settling for less and ending up with someone who you aren’t equally yoked with!

@Danièle N men don't find it intimidating men don't care how much a women makes. To be a business women you acquire masculine traits and keep those traits with you, if women don't like men acting like women why would a man like a women acting like a man? Also most women want a 1% man and your chances are 1%.

You’re absolutely beautiful! God has a husband for you. Pray for him to bring and him together. But, you have to be open to whom God sends, and accept him. The man has to be god fearing, hardworking, ect. Get rid of your list of income, height, complexion, education level. Trust God, he won’t fail you. I did this and I got engaged in 16 months and planning my wedding. Btw, he was everything I wanted, handsome, plus so much more. God didn’t disappoint. Praying for you!!

Why the fuck do other people through the word selfish at those who don't want to have kids? I always looked at it the opposite way: people having kids who don't really want them or aren't in the best situation to have them; which only causes more issues that bleeds into society.
@markaurelius61
@markaurelius61 2 жыл бұрын
I think having children makes you less selfish. That is the correlation. Clearly the drive to have kids is strong enough to lead this woman to make a huge change in her life, it was just too late to do it when she still had lots of good years left, and was able to do it with a man so that the child had box sexes in its life while growing up.

Thank you for this. There’s this negative stigma of single women who have children without being married. There are women who struggle to raise children without a spouse but that’s NOT everyone’s story. And just because someone’s married doesn’t mean things are easier for them. I hope we get better as a society and stop making assumptions about peoples situations

There are no assumptions. She was clearly not ready for a kid until it was too late. Being a single mothers is negative. No ifs ands or buts about it. The only stigma is that she waited until she couldn't conceive a child, to finally do what she needed to do in the first place, just to even have an adopted child. That's the stigma.

Although she chose to retire and go back home to focus on raising her son, she is obviously an incredibly intelligent, ambitious person that can start another job or career at any time, when and if she chooses. She’s living with her family, not off her family. I’m 100% sure she has supported them throughout her career and she still supports them now in various ways. She wouldn't trade being a mother, but I'm sure she would do things different if she could! She had no other choice but to move back to the States. She needed to show stability, safety, and security; or she would just return her newly adopted child back and say, "Sorry, the baby boy couldn't keep up with me like the men I dated couldn't keep up with me." She is the poster child on what women who choose their careers over family and sacrifice their fertility at the altar of financial independence and passport stamps. She is not a late bloomer, because she didn't bloom her own flower. The timing wasn't perfect. She had to freeze her eggs and that didn't work. "Family is what you make it, when you make it...not on anybody else's timeline." Yikes, that's the delusion she tells herself and the world; rather instead of telling young career-driven woman, not to delay and waste their womanly God-given gift of giving birth, the joy of becoming a mother, a creator of life, and bringing a blessing into this world. The fertility clock is God's timeline. That's the rush. When the clock ticks louder, that's when you settle. Their is no shame in settling. It the natural order of things. She finally was intentional and did what she needed to do to become an eligible mother of an adopted child, because that's what she really wanted. Young women need to realize you can't have both. You need to be intentional and practical about having a family first, then career second. That's the facts of life.
