Archer Calder is the creator of Freespeech, an app that allows anyone with a language impairment to practice and develop grammar skills. He created it after spending his childhood unable to talk with his younger sister Della, who has a rare genetic condition called Bainbridge-Ropers syndrome. I’m speechless in a good way. A sibling whose goal is to connect with their non-verbal sister emotionally. It touches me, as I’m a mom with a son who has severe autism and non-verbal.
